Definitely not as much movement as I thought there would be. The biggest movement has been out of the 28-32 seeds. Definitely some interesting matchups between the 2nd and 3rd rounds potentially

Also I think that potential 3rd round game between Bessemer City and Cherokee could be very interesting. BC played Shelby tough.

Looks like it will be East Wilkes coming to Cherokee if the seeds hold. They jumped Bessemer city in rpi

I’d like to see ER make some noise in the playoffs. Looks like they may play S Davidson first round, a team they lost to early in the season. I would say this go round ER would beat them by 25+. ER has to be one of the most improved teams from November to Feb.

Think Cherokee played Bishop within 1 point and looks like they may be on the same side of the bracket.

Absolutely. Outside of a couple I think falls lake walks to the state title game.

Chatham Charter is #3 RPI in the East. I’ve seen them play once and they’re no where as competitive as the top ten teams in the west. Falls Lake does have a good player in Emerson Thompson, who plays aau with Sarah Strong (national recruit).
The west has won 27 of the last 30 state championships (not including the 2020 yr).

My daughter messaged me on the our way to the game said bring Imodium and bring a lot of it lol. One of the assistant coaches looked at me when I handed her the medicine and said it’s a bad to be wearing white lol.

I think Cherokee should beat east Wilkes bc there conference is terrible. Bessemer city and bishop should be good game if Bessemer city is indeed scrappy
