I'am sorry brother, i thought you were talking about me.You got me mixed up with someone else.I don't talk crap about any team.

Clock has been an issues in past too. WRH only had one penalty Friday nite. Think we'll get lit up this Friday?you better take some voodoo, or some protection with you> Just kidding, but if the same officials are there, yall are in trouble
Whiteville looks good. Real good. Would love to play Eastern championship in Whiteville. Pay back JPMan where are all the Wallace posters? You all must not want to come back to Whiteville if both of us win. I figured all of you would jump on this. Must not want to after 2 years ago.
It’s all good Strick....you’re a cool poster up here. I was replying to old man Wiz and all his trash talk last week.I'am sorry brother, i thought you were talking about me.
Pretty bold statements. Did you actually wait around at the ticket booth to see that? My experience is that officials leave the field fairly quickly to go change clothes and many times do not go back into the field of play. By the time we had left the Clinton stands were filing out and headed out.Use to enjoy reading your articles but I’m not paying any subscription, sorry
no excused for bad officiating. The worst officiated game I have ever seen and I’ve seen a whole lot of them in my 72 years. They took the job officiating, no one twisted their arms. Every single call that some would say was close went ED’s way. The white hat had a homecoming of sorts corojoling with the fans. I think he had a homecoming committe in the end zone near the ticket box. He knew exactly what he was doing and it wasn’t good..
I'm not about to jump on the WRH wagon; there is no wagon; I'd rather watch a proven winner like NE. Someone that's won a conference championship lately. Who ever win next Friday, NE will scald you!Wiz... don’t try and jump on the WRH train now after all the crap you‘ve been spewing this past week how WC was gonna stomp our butts. Go over to NE with Goob because we don’t want your support.
Johnson was hired April 1, 2018; My friends and I met him on that day@Sportscribe I’m not sure I don’t want to speculate when Johnson was first hired initially I think Henry was going to be on the staff, but that’s also around the time I think he became the Pastor at First Baptist of Clinton so I never really asked why I just figured he wanted to put all his focus into the church
Don’t have a dog, but you will Friday. Since you called me out I’ll tell you, you’re a shining example why almost every DarkHorse fan I know( and I know a lot of them) but you’re an example of why most every Darkzhorse fan hates East Duplin. You don’t know how to win because you really haven’t won anything so I understand you ain’t been.l there before!.
It was. T balanced last night Sportscribe. All that stuff sound warm and fuzzy when all is said and done you have to look at the real world Tagic calls and happening have lingerging effects, im convince if the ball was placed correctly, Clinton would have assumbed possession and certainly cThink I will go back to ED next week. Should be a great game. Was there last night on the Clinton side with an old friend. Very entertaining game. I will say I am pretty surprised at some of the comments I heard last night in the stands and have read on here. High school football is officiated by officials who I am sure the majority have regular jobs. High school football also doesnt have instant replay or coaches challenges. Mistakes happen. Calls are missed each game. I dont know if the result of the play was a catch or not but you play on. The play happened in the second quarter for Pete's sake. Result of the drive was a TD but there were still roughly 2:00 to play in the half yet Clinton decided to take a couple of knees and go to half with a couple of time outs left? With ED getting the 2nd half kickoff (which I think resulted in a FG making it 24-14)? Interesting to me anyway.
As far as the chain "breaking", sure it is odd but the football didnt move. One of the officials kept in his hand on the ball the entire time. When the chain was repaired and placed down it was half of the ball. Dont understand why everyone getting worked up over that. I think the clip came off instead of the chain breaking.
I do think ED got the benefit of a 4th and 1 when it appeared the runner was stopped short of the line to gain but you play on, make a stop and go score. From my vantage point the Clinton qb was stopped short on the 4th and 1 inside the 15. He had to get to the 10 and it was obvious he didnt make it. I also think Clinton got a break when ED was flagged for roughing the passer on the Clinton sideline on 4th down. My point is, these things most of the time balance out.
Not a fan of either team, but I thought both played pretty well. If I was a Clinton fan, I would question why #24 does not get more touches. Their play calling appeared to be QB heavy as far as draws and some RPOs and I think #24 could have been more of a factor. As far as ED, if you are old school (like me) you have to admire what they do. I thought they were the better team and made plays when it counted. They had a better defense and far superior special teams. If the teams played five times this year, I think ED wins at least four.
How does all that translate to the topic? It doesnt. So, I will just say I look forward to going next week and another meal at that Thai restaurant. I am sure it will be a great game.
Way to early on Sunday morning for me to try and unscramble all that. But I think The Wizard is saying Good Morning everyone especially the East Duplin people!!!!!It was. Well you can be my critic because I don’t subscribe. I’m nit a professional, I’m just a fan but I do have a vey good understanding between what’s right and wrongPretty bold statements. I also am curious about "every single call" going EDs way. I gave one example that went Clinton's way and simply stated that questionable calls during a game usually balance out. Bottom line is, I am not going to change your mind, Clinton fans minds (including my buddy) about the calls. It has been around since the beginning of sports regardless of the sport.
Seems you made a lot of predictions last week that did not come to fruition. I think you had West Craven beating Wallace (yet you like them this week) and also for some reason posted disparaging remarks a very, very good Whiteville team. Now based on other posts you are a Northeastern guy. Then, if you do not like a poster, you ignore them. I know you have been at this a long time. It is evidenced by the number of posts you have on this site and I also remember you from the old NChometeam site. You follow the same MO each time. It really is boorish behavior and follows a pattern. I am not 72, but I am close and I really hope I do not come across in discussions the same way you do or more importantly in person. Oh well, I do not guess you can change now. Try and be happy.
If I were still wearing my reporter hat, I would ask Coach Johnson about some of his strategy that had me and others scratching their heads. Why take a knee at end of the first half with a couple of timeouts left and the ball around the 35 especially when ED gets the second half kickoff. Why not feature #24 more? Why not have a better special teams showing? No PATs attempted and a shank punt and from what I understand have not tried PATs in many weeks. As I said, and I am no coach, but it was a 17 point win for the victors and IMO the better team won. Look forward to going back next week.

Soortscribe , you don’t know me you don’t know anything about me, Seems like you’re doing the same thing you’re a accusing me if doing. Does it make me unhappy? Certainly not! What does make me unhappy is when I see officials make so many mistakes in a crucial game involving the team I support. Good luck daagoob! The plan is coming together just the way Coach said it would Only thing in our way is a Washington team that is playing out of its mind. They are on fire and It be a battle here in EC. This game is a toss up if there ever was one. I was pulling for Cummings to win. Regardless, a Duplin County team will be moving on.
That’s a lot of jibberish for a 72yo man(more like a boy) who thinks he’s a bad@$$ while his team sits on the couch this week. Get a grip man, you’d think someone of your age wouldn’t act so childish on a public football forum. Words don’t mean a whole lot when the only time you will say them is behind a computer screen. Do you have any coaching experience other than little league? Good I don’t either I would not pretend to put on coaching strategies on this forum questioning what Coach Johnson would do. This very young man followed a coaching legend in his fist head coaching job, won 3 straight ECC championships, compiling a record of 35-9 over 4 seasons, and you a sleazy sportswriter are going to tell him what to do.
I tell you what you can do, quit reading my post and put your half a___ newspaper on you where the sun doesnt shine. See I’m the same as you, I just put it in different words. I use to read your trash because you’d try to cover the ECC. The ECC doesn’t matter anymore. It’s only a skeleton of what was a great conference. Now it’s the Duplin County conference and whoever they want to play
Happy writing, I’m sure you’ll get a kick out of this. Come out with all the proper words and conduct. I don’t care. The Wizard is going to keep on being the Wizard . Guess what I now know who the white hat was talking to, guess who? Noneya ……… None your Business
Got to respect them. Don’t like em but respect their efforts to be a good program, nice field etc. Same as WRH, don’t like them but Dawg pound is a great place to watch a game and WRH is always talented.I don't like anything about it, never have other than over many many years the Horses have won there a whole lot more than they ever lost
You going to ed-wrh this week? Who you got?The head of officiating and a couple of other guy's with him were at our game Friday night. The white hat kept going over and talking to them but it was info youon the game he was giving. It made me curious as to who they were so I got closer in the 2nd half and just finally asked them. I think his last name was Rouse but I'm not sure right now. Id have to look at my facebook live video I was doing. That may have been the same thing you saw Wiz at your game.
Wiz is actually super cool in person and Im sure there are many posters up here who would say the same. I’m curious how you know that he wouldn’t say the same things to you in person? Have you asked to meet up with him in the past? That’s a lot of jibberish for a 72yo man(more like a boy) who thinks he’s a bad@$$ while his team sits on the couch this week. I'm not sure if I'm going to ED or not. I'm leaning toward going to Northside to watch them play county rival Southside in Beaufort County. I have a co-worker that has invited me to go with them. I've never been to a game there and its a big rivalry game in 1A. As for WRH-ED I don't really know a lot about ED this year. I know they beat you earlier and they have Battle Holley. But its really hard to beat a good team twice in one year and WRH is a really good team. So I think WRH will continue on.You going to ed-wrh this week? Who you got?
no it wasn't, I now know and it was nothing to do with ED; still under the circumstance, it did not give a professional unbiased impression. He was a horrible official. I use to know the booking agent in New Bern. A good friend of mine.I don't think he still does it but yes he would attend games to evaluate crews. The head of officiating and a couple of other guy's with him were at our game Friday night. Excellent facilities, but more than one fan base, coaching base will tell you playing at ED involves a certain amount of home cooking. DogPound, a. excellent place to watch a game close to the action, old-school atmosphere, great upgrades at both RD and WRH over the years. I've never felt a sense of home cooking at WRH. Actually, WRH is one of my favorite places to watch a ballgame! other than Robinson-Lewis Field at DarkHorse Stadium.Got to respect them. Don’t like em but respect their efforts to be a good program, nice field etc. Same as WRH, don’t like them but Dawg pound is a great place to watch a game and WRH is always talented.
It should be a classic as usual. Nothing but respect for you guys and your programHard to beat em twice. Hell it was hard to beat em once. Guess ED will show up and just do the best they can!! 😁😁
Please show us some PROOF OF YOUR senseless accusations of so called Home Cooking at ED. I want facts, not personal feelings. Wiz you wouldn't have said one negative word had the Horses came out with a win. Prove me wrong Mr Know It All😡Excellent facilities, but more than one fan base, coaching base will tell you playing at ED involves a certain amount of home cooking. It really goes both ways olddog. We know all this crap on here doesn't matter. It should be a classic as usual. Nothing but respect for you guys and your program
thanks daagoob, I am the same in person, usually pretty easygoing, but if you strike, I'm going to strike back. Sorry, most of the time I'm not a turn the cheek kind of guy Yep have some sins.I would say the same about you having met you in person a couple times, a knowledgeable poster who knows much more than one might think, loves high school football, not just the program he supports but loves his team and coach.I'm always eager to meet posters and have met many over the years. The Reidsville posters we use to have a "Meeting of the Mouths" several years annually where posters from several schools gathered just before playoffs. to eat and have a good time.I hope to see you in the coming weeks but I'm not coming all the way to Elizabeth City. Maybe the state championship game, have they announced which college the 2A site?Wiz is actually super cool in person and Im sure there are many posters up here who would say the same. I’m curious how you know that he wouldn’t say the same things to you in person? Have you asked to meet up with him in the past?
Wizard, where's the PROOF FOR YOUR COMMENT, oh that's right you don't have any. It's all your Old Washed Up Opinion!!!!thanks daagoob, I am the same in person, usually pretty easygoing, but if you strike, I'm going to strike back. ED has a very good team, one of the best I've seen this year, and I'm not insinuating (honestly) they had anything to do with it but if they have the same officiating crew they had last week, no problem. I know some will so take it any way you want it. No I nor many aren't over it yet and if the shoe was on the other foot you wouldn't either. As they use to say in the old days the film, (now video, official, and cell phone) doesn't lie. Anyway Good luck to your Panthers, I've always admired the Holley father-son coaching tree.Hard to beat em twice. Hell it was hard to beat em once. Guess ED will show up and just do the best they can!! 😁😁
really just a game that matters for community pride. Many schools don't have a real local community like the smaller 2A and 1a! schools. It really goes both ways olddog. We know all this crap on here doesn't matter.
