Reidsville would be tough sledding for sure. We don't see a passing attack like that with our schedule but Heritage is more up our alley. We can beat them.
I knew any team with a decent passing game would murder us .... I just didn’t know whiteville has a good passing game .... well now I know
Embarrassing. If I say any more it would include a LOT of four letter words.
South came out flat but that’s no excuse ... we cannot stop that passing game ... #10 is doing whatever he wants tonight

Jake can't tackle those athletes..fast teams will send stallions home in the playoffs.Wonder if Jake is ready to make a comeback?
I agree whiteville made us look like we were in quicksand ... this stallion team doesn’t have the speed as years past

Of course not, let's just make snap judgements based on the fact our kids thought they would win tonight by just putting on a black jersey. We played as bad as possible tonight and Whiteville came out firing on all cylinders.
First off I would like to congratulate Coach Little, his staff, players and all the Wolfpack fans for their win. The best team definitely won tonight.
Now as for the Stallions. This is the most undisciplined Stallion team I've ever seen. This is what a weak schedule will get you when you actually have to play a good team that is very well coached. I knew this was coming, I just didn't know when. We played with no desire to win at all tonight. If I didn't know any better I would say our coaches and players took the week off because they certainly were not prepared for Whiteville!

That's a bit out of line considering coach doves record over the past two years and the person that he is off the field. The problem isn't on offense, the problem is on defense.
An old coach told us that it'd take us 5 years to get back on track from that setback we had before coach dove came and I'm seeing the truth in his words more and more. We are still catching on defense instead of attacking and just not playing with that junkyard dog attitude we've always played with in the past, last year I was wowd because of how quick of a turn around it was but I think we've come back to earth a little this year and we lost some team speed as well, but I think with a good defensive coordinator coach dove can get us where we want to be and I think I'm speaking for us all when I say that's a state title. There's plenty of conference championship trophys in the trophy case. South is 19-7 against whiteville including tonight, some nights it's just not your night and tonight that was the case but no need for head hunting at this point
Whiteville has to much team speed,period. Fooled me too,I looked for closer game. SC. offense was shut down by a very well coached better defense. SC offense looked as though they were thinking to much,out of synch . Give Pack credit their QB has realy improved in 8 games. People say this is a tough conf. but I beg the differ. Only 3 teams that are programs year in and out. A former Defensive coach said tonight same thing. Dove does good job,hell he won 10 games this year. This might be quickest Whiteville team in a long time. South don't have that speed. It fooled me until tonight. Plus South could not run the ball,sure can't throw it,against better teams. Whiteville was the better team tonight in every phase of the game. They came out firing on all cylinders and didn't look back. South missed a tackle that would have resulted in a Whiteville punt and turned into a touchdown, and later South drops a pass that is a sure touchdown, and the rout was on. Whiteville came out very confident in their passing game and that is huge in this conference, then were able to shut down the Stallion running game. Don't remember seeing Spencer lineup in shotgun much this year though, maybe coaches saw something they thought they could exploit. Last thing, this is a heated rivalry but I was impressed with kids from both teams as they were shaking hands at how many of them actually hugged and took time to speak to each other. Both programs showing a lot of respect for one another.
Them boys gave up too easily .... they talk too much junk during the school week and expect to be a great team ... don’t blame coaching blame players who think they know everything.
However, I would say whiteville just basically played hard core football and SC couldn’t stop the pass game . SC HAS NO SPEED WHICH WILL HENDER THEM IN THE PLAYOFFS . You can’t depend on the same people to play both sides . Players stay on your blocks . The quartbaxk made bad throws and you only have 2 athletes with speed. Ijs oops I forgot I’m just a by stander
