It was my understanding that in case of a tie, the maxprep rankings would decide the order. Those new rankings have not been posted. If I'm correct then the NCHSAA is the WWE of high school football. Can some one clear this up for me.

Ties were to broken by draw or head to head for conference #1 which that was done by ADs and Coaches of three teams EB#1 , SC #2 WHS #3. All #1s were seeded first regardless of Max preps rating. #2 next but used the ratings. The conference had only 2 automatic bids. WHS, St. Paul's and Red Springs went as wild cards.

This happened before,when West Columbus, Whiteville and West Brunswick all had one loss. Only took 2 then to playoffs. Had drawing and WC was 8--2 stayed home,no playoff for one of Wynn Williamson's best years. Tough
