Thomasville Football

Oh I misunderstood.
Nothing would totally surprise me about Thomasville City Schools these days. But I don’t have any reason to think that will happen. The disciplinary issues are real. I would hope that the win/loss record wouldn’t be a reason to take any action this soon.

Sloppy game and penalties killed them. Played into the Rville plan running up the middle and off tackle too much against that big DL. Waited until Rville had a long scoring drive to adjust to the B gap dive and off tackle run. Did not use their speed and cannot complete a pass to save their lives.

that's bad inexperienced clueless coaching for you. Brown or Gillespie and his staff could have taken that same team and had a winning season.

If that were true one of them would still be coaching. Shouldn't have burnt bridges with Benjie since you love the Browns so much.
Benjie was going to come back a few years ago but the school board messed that up. If you think that this flag football coach is that right guy for the job, you are clueless.

You’re mostly right about Benjie. But it was another board, not the school board, that nixed the opportunity. While I very much wanted Benjie at that point, I believe he would have followed through with his retirement plans and would only have coached for two years. So maybe not the best long term solution.

What the school board did screw up was the failure to consider Benjie for superintendent because he didn’t have central office experience and then hired the principal from Page…..who had no central office experience. That was expensive and started the non-stop process of revolving door superintendents.
