Reidsville 57 McMichael 3

Administration was no more ready for this game than me.....No Nat'l Anthem (which is just plain wrong.....have a back-up plan in place)......No Programs......No one selling 50/50 tickets....(who would know that you had to go ask at the store for those,...BTW winning pot of 34 dollars was laughable).......let's hope by the next home game things will be a little smoother......This game (McMichael) reminded me of just a scrimmage...on 2nd thought that's what it was........................
The booster club sells the 50/50 tickets not the administration and if we had a more prepared announcer that got to the game earlier then 7:15 the national anthem could have been worked out...stop whining and moaning about Everything and pitch in and help...

No we didn't have the 50/50 out front, because it rained until just before game time. As I have stated many times before, we only have a handful of people who show up to the TD Club meetings. It is always the same people who lend a helping hand. We will more than welcome anyone who would like to help with the following.
1. Pat runs the store by herself and took on that role. I am sure she would like to be able to watch some of the game vs running the store.
2. 50/50 -- Its wide open if anyone wants to take it on.
3. Flags -- The middle school players have agreed to take them down each week. A varsity parent helps with this. I am sure he can use some help with the kids, as he would like to visit with his son after games.
4. Raffle Tickets -- We are having a huge raffle on Oct 28th. It is our major fund raiser for the season. If anyone would like to help the two young ladies, I am sure they could use some help before the game.

I do not understand it. We have the most titles in NC State History and Second most wins all-time. We should be standing room only for home games. The student section should be busting at the seams. Over half the stands should be season tickets holders. Schools like Dudley, Salem, Va, Northern Guilford, Shelby, Crest are packed with fans and booster members. Sorry for being on a soapbox, but I get tired of hearing whats wrong vs do you guys need any help!

You also forgot to tell him to take his life time pass and do something with it.

How soon we forget.

The reason students don't go to games anymore is because they are made to sit in the stands, which I have always disagreed with, now they hardly come. The athletic programs needed that money. The ones that want to cause trouble just just deal with them with suspension or something. I counted at least 5 cops at the games along with numerous staff I know they're not working for free. That's plenty to be able to control the kids that want to walk around and socialize. I go to others school and their kids are allowed to walk around and talk to each other. It's apart of what Friday nights are about

A lot of schools have a well-organized student cheering section. It's the place to be on Friday night.

Should also have a student discount.
Btw, PA guy was there long before 715.
I was president of booster club for 5-6 years so I feel your pain when it comes to lack of help. That's what ran me out of it.

I have only seen that at the 3a and 4a school, I have yet to see a nice size student section on the 2a level. Give the kids back their freedom at the games and attendance and gate money will increase.

Lifetime pass ...gtfoh if that's true then in needs to be revoked..should be paying just like everyone else...will definitely check on that

Killer,
The lifetime passes were part of their participation and money donated when Community Stadium was build in the mid 80s. If you look on the plaque outside the stadium you will see a lot of the names associated with screen names on here. To be very honest we need more involvement from parents with players on the team now. Mule, BBQ, Hag and several more have been long time financial supporters of the program.
