Private Private School Boys Basketball Thread

Concord Cannon is 2-1 and will take on 1-0 Cardinal Gibbons tomorrow 11/23 at home. Cannon lost a good player 7’ 0 Christian Reeves to Oak Hill Academy back in the summer. Concord Cannon still have some talented players with Dj Nix and also a 6’9 Sophomore. They look young on the roster but we will see how they perform for the season. With Oak Hill Academy they are 4-1. The loss came to 5-0 Greensboro Day by 1 point.
Greensboro Day is 11-0 and seems to be a team to keep an eye on. They beat an undefeated South Meck team earlier in the season. Concord Cannon has fell off this season struggling with a 5-4 record so far. Will see how Greensboro Day does this season. Beating a Oak Hill Academy from Virginia is impressive.
I've been watching a lot of Moravian Prep on Youtube. That Eli Ellis guy is fun to watch. Reminds me of a cross between Jason Williams and Rusty Larue.
Big news. Congratulations to Christian Reeves who is at Oak Hill Academy who use to play for Concord Academy has selected Duke at his college pick. Concord Academy won the State Championship game the last 2 years he played for.

Keeping an eye on Greensboro Day. 18-2 record with the only 2 loses to 2 different teams from Florida. They won over undefeated Greensboro Grimsley in the tournament. Interesting to see if this team will take it all the way to the big dance Championship game.
Oak Hill Academy will take on Lalumiere Lakers on ESPN2 at 9 pm tonight. Watch for 7’0 Christian Reeves #30 who use to play for Concord Cannon. He will be playing for Duke in the future.

Greensboro Day (21-2) will take on High Point Christian Academy (15-4) next Tuesday 1/25 at 6:00 pm. Greensboro Day with only 2 losses from out of State opponents that are from Florida. GD seems to be the team to beat at the moment.
Greensboro Day will beat HP Christian by as much as they want to. 30 plus.
Keeping tabs with Greensboro Day they are 26-3 and 7-0 now. Last lost game came to Trinity Academy 44-42. However they did win their last game to Caldwell Academy 58-39.
Greensboro Day ( 31-3) won over Charlotte Christian 55-33. Waiting on the brackets for the Private schools to come out.
Greensboro Day will play against Concord Cannon in the 1st rd of Tournament. Game time 6pm on 2/22/22.
Greensboro Day 32-3 will play Carmel Christian 25-3 this Saturday 2/26 at 7:30 pm for the Championship.
Carmel Christian wins a big one over Greensboro Day 70-66 Greensboro Day had an exceptionally good season. Congratulations to Carmel Christian for the win.

Seen that Max Preps listed Christian Reeves 7’ 1 in the top ten of the 7 footers. He will be playing for Duke basketball in the next upcoming season. Christian Reeves started out playing for Concord Cannon for a couple years but transferred to Oak Hill Academy coming in his senior year.
