Patton at East Burke

Patton is currently 0-2 with losses to Foard - 28-6 and Draughn 39-21 / Patton did not have a good pass game vs Draughn only 6/21 for 1 TD and 2 INTs - Ground game was lead by #30 with only 101 yard n 1 TD. Patton has struggled the past few seasons and They are off to a rocky start this season - If they wanna beat EB gotta stop the run game but u need either have your run game or pass game better then what EB is doing

East Burke is 2-0 and Won over West Caldwell 18-13/43-6 win over West Iredell which is 112 PF and 19 PA overall! EB defense has been very much improved and they had 2 sacks and 2 INTs in their win over West Iredell. Offense was lead by JR Blaine Fulbright with 240 yard n 2 TDs! EB has the top 3 Rusher in their conference and Blaine Fulbright is #2 in 2A standing- East Burke is 2-0 for first time since 2012! If they go 3-0 it will be first time they gone 3-0 since 2009!

East Burke went all the way to Asheville to play a 3A JV game lost 42 36 nothing to be ashamed of Erwin has a good Football Program! Proud of the EB guys

Thoughts on the game - East Burke runs their offense like a well oiled machine , very few mistakes - Their O line is pretty solid. They have some good runs inside and outside - They didn’t try a pass , They had their way with Patton all night long on their line ... Defense is stout and only gave up 6 on a nice outside run by Patton but that’s it and Patton run game not bad but just they got beat off the line and Patton QB had a decent arm but Patton not a passing team as they run a similar run first offense. Patton did Throw a INT just before half

Patton biggest issue was penalties and missed tackles:Assignments on the line , offense had few big play called back on penalties and so did their defense - Patton Couldn’t stop the ground attack of EB!

Great job by EB!!!
