Don't think Olympic quite has the horses to hang with the Parker Myers All Stars but hoping the Trojans pull it out. The high school mercenaries have demonstrated the consistent ability to play to the level of their competition, so one mistake too many or one more underperforming effort, and Olympic just might pull one out.

Nepsy captured part of it. I pick on them for a number of reasons. Myers Park district also includes old money Charlotte neighborhoods with political connections. Somehow things like conference alignments get changed (original conference alignment had them with Butler and Catholic) and magically altered to their apparent advantage in subsequent adjustments. Parker Myers is a rip on some of the Mayflower descendant names you sometimes find. The only thing I didn't include was a roman numeral like III, IV, V or even higher. They change coaches like some of us change underwear and historically have ducked hard competition in early season games. (Credit to them this year with scheduling but has not always been the case.) This has led them to historically fold like a house of cards in early, mid playoff rounds despite the all start roster. As a Catholic fan, I still mock them for dropping us a few years back when Catholic was either 2A or 3A. Played four games, home and home. Had the makings of a natural rivalry, close proximity to each other and always a big gate. Catholic thumped them 3 times and won one close game. Myers Park dropped them like a hot potato in exchange for a cupcake guaranteed win replacement.

Bigdad! Myself along with B&G met this buffoon a few years back at the MC vs Scotland games. We instantly knew he was a candidate for Dorothea Dix Psychiatric Center. He has a serious little man's complex. If i hadn't bent down to tie my shoe, i would have never saw him.
