Again, no one is asking about Weddington, nor have they ever questioned their abilities because anyone in the state can recognize the greatness of Weddington. My question was why bash watauga because of a flawed system? And is it Wataugas fault that ACR had injuries so they couldn't play at full strength? Regardless, there's no reason to bash a team for playing the games in front of them. It's not the players fault for their schedule. They shouldn't have to come on here and read a supposed adult talking about their efforts. If you're mad at the system, that's one thing. Being an adult and telling kids they're garbage online isn't right.

Well you sure know how to twist things around. I’ve never said Watauga is no good. They’re undefeated and do so regularly. They are good and have very good program ! However if you think they are deserving of a #2 seed in the 4A you are delusional . You are right the system flawed. Watauga happens to be one of the most glaring examples. Another would be my team , Weddington, ranked ahead of Butler with the same record and our only loss was to Butler. That doesn’t make sense. Also , “ the high school students athletes“ at Watauga have done everything they should ( don’t act like I’m attacking them ). The adults there should schedule some out of region games . I’ve been around since we were irrelevant and I’ve seen the schedule get tougher every year. Watauga schedule is too weak for a team to be seeded that high. That’s just a fact! Never said anything about the kids…..YOU need to be an adult and quit twisting things around

With Weddington and Lake Norman losing while Butler beat a solid Independence squad hopefully we can get a top three seed.
It’ll be interesting to see where we land in RPI… beating LKN alone would be a nice boost… MR downing Weddington helps indirectly bc LKN beat MR… I’m guessing probably 3 or 4 for us?

If Weddington gets the 1 seed with two loses me thinks we see a change to seeding format next year. There would be some teams pretty pissed.
Roberson and Myers Park should move up to 8-9 slots for being conference winners. Think those would be only seeding changes right?
That is correct. Those 2 as conference champs will push someone down. A 2 loss team as the 1 seed is definitely going to force a change, especially when they lost to a team that’s also in the west with less losses
Lol I called it. I get that Weddington played a tough schedule but a two loss team over a undefeated team or one loss team is madness
Roberson and Myers Park will be the 8 and 9. Their RPI won’t change but that’s how they’ll be seeded

No reason when everyone already knows which team is in the east and which teams is in the west.
Horse apples. #1 Rolesville loses to Grimsley by 29, 63-34! Undefeated Grimsley at #6. Clearly an inequitable system,
Watauga has played a total of two 4A teams. I know geography plays a role in who they play and I congratulate them on an outstanding season. Certainly level of competition has to be figured in addition to opponents winning percentage
