ND vs ledford... Again

For more than just a conference title. This is for the true bragging rights and the right to play for State.

North is peaking at the right time... Ledfords defense is as much a force as ever but the Knights are healthy and have all their weapons ready this time round. Not to mention a great defense of our own...

We play our game and don't drop passes, miss field goals or give the other team 2 points and I believe we win.

The stakes have never been higher... Get ready for MAYBE the biggest gate in DC history... Too bad the parking sucks!

Someone needs to work on the long snapper. He sent another one flying tonight.

And North isn’t completely healthy. Losing Kobe is going to hurt. We can’t keep putting #20 in the backfield if we’re going to expect him to play defense at his usual high level. #15 wears out easily. #21 had one solid run tonight. #28 is small, but I love his heart.

Ah, gotcha. Forgot about that from earlier... I was going off pregame but I was at work... I'LL BE THERE NEXT WEEK FOR SURE!!!

Ledford is known for having good concessions. But unless they change for the playoffs, the fare will be limited on the visitors’ side. Pizza and chick-fila. If you want hot dogs and hamburgers, you’ll have to go to the home side. The lines will be long.

Let's push to move this game to Saturday, we can set up and tailgate, would have a very nice spread!!!! I'm sure the NCHSAA would be willing to accommodate????!!!!

This is all in good humor by the way

How many would be a good guess as far as crowd size? I've seen some packed houses for these games at both schools, but never really ever heard a number...Anyone care to guesstimate????

You’ll prob see 3-4K at this game if I had to guess. Standing room only crowd for this one. It will be hard for Ledford to beat North twice In My opinion.

Wish they would move it to Saturday so I could see it in person..... should be a war....of course Reidsville is at home Friday as well vs. Brevard so I'll be there (God willing)...but I will follow the ND/Ledford game....listened to the last game last month (Reidsville had moved their game to a thursday) and it was a WAR..expect the same this week......................

I will try my best to keep it updated on here, should be broadcast live as well through KSN....they were having technical difficulties last night, hopefully will be back Friday....

No way... this game’s gate bottoms out at 5000. There will be more than that. This one is way bigger than the biggest North game I ever attended (ND vs Thomasville. 1991]. There were more than 5000 there that night.

Ledford capacity is about 3,000. Is imagine 500-1,000 more standing anywhere and everywhere

I love it. People don't even know HOW to troll anymore for the most part, they just say something childish with no substance most of the time.

i would much rather see a ND vs Hibriten/Shelby state championship game than Ledford,I think Ledford would get drilled by either one of those teams,but who am I but some poster on a message board,not disrespecting Ledford or anything just running my mouth...I'm board

NDHS opened in 1952. Oak Grove High School is a recently opened school. It is about 10 minutes or less from NDHS and took it's enrollment from North Davidson and Ledford. Opened in 2017.
 
Once again, this game will down to will ND play sound football? Last night they were crisp as you could ask for to start off and then some sloppy play allowed a few points for SWE ( it's really hard when you up so much at half to not pull off the gas pedal.) Also against Ledford, mistakes ruined ND. This to me, is all on coaching. Will the team be highly disciplined and prepared? It's been ND's only true flaw this year.

I think a key to the game will be, IF ND get's up two scores or so, making sure to avoid playing don't lose football. Don't be careless, but always play to win.

Make no mistake, Ledford is great at forcing mistakes and capitalizing. The forced A LOT of mistakes last night.

It's pretty exciting all of this! Gigantic congrats to BOTH teams on working so hard to get here. Takes A LOT of diligent young men to get to this point in the season. Well done young fellas!

ND is generally good for about 4-5 agressive personal foul penalties and about that many unsportsmanlike penalties against Ledford. They’ll need to control that in what should be another down to the wire game.

As a CCC fan, I’m excited to see two teams in the regional finals. I don’t follow football, as much as some of the other sports. So from an objective standpoint, this is what I’ve captured from the boards .....I’ve seen Ledford’s offense is terrible, but defense is great. Yet, I’ve not seen them win games 14-0 in the play offs, they're winning fairly big. I’m assuming most of you have heard “offense wins games, defense wins championships .” Then “North Should’ve won against Ledford,” but missed a field goal. “Should’ve, could’ve, would’ve.” Does this mean Ledford could’ve beat North twice last year, esp the last game that was close....Then you have a Thomasville fan, stating their game could’ve gone either way, meanwhile the final score was 35-0...Yes, when I think of Ledford, I typically think of how strong they’re in female sports, not in fball....As a neutral fan between ND and LHs, you guys should give Ledford more respect this year ...I can easily see North winning Friday, but let’s be objective people. Still, no offense to the North fans but when I think of North, it’s softball, not football.

I'll put it bluntly, if ND's coach didn't go brain dead in the last minute and a half on the 3 yard line with a first down, then this game would have been played in Welcome, NC. I apologize to whoever this post may offend, but I will not retract my post.
