UNC has a large following for basketball, but as far as faculty/admin, it's not the same. It's more so tradition. Football has in large part done itself in. The latest example of this would be a myriad of bad coaching hires.

2-2 or 3-1. Schedule looks harder but a lot of those teams lost an awful lot from last year. Offense will be better than last year, IMO. Defense just needs to be average and they've got a shot at 10 wins.

I said 8-9 wins last year, right on the money. Going with that total again this year as I think they vastly improved their WR/DB room via the portal. They’ll battle for the #3 spot behind FSU/Clemson. Watch out for those Noles and the big DT from the State Champion Bears.

Yea, 4 road games and a neutral vs South Carolina. Makes up for the whopping 6 road games they had this past season. Meh, they played a couple of smaller schools on the road last year that made them look better than they really were. 2023 is the most optimistic that I've been since Mack 2.0, thus, I'm undoubtedly ready to get hurt again.
I think you’ll be good. If the defense clicks early and shuts down SC you’ll be favored in every game leading up to the last two.

Coach Twitchell was highly complementary of him when we played him the first time. We won in OT you remember the game you said didn't matter to anyone. Coach told me after the game that New Bern was going to be really good. He was right. They just got carried away.
They have a rivalry, you know that. And no, the game didn't matter in terms of seeding. But I'm glad you remember that like the banter you would give me starting back in 2015. Hopefully we can bring Coach Dixon back to the sidelines at New Bern.
Only in terms of cousins and friends playing. 1600+ verses 750 ain't much of a rivalry to get excited about. You'll be alright. Need somebody to keep that offense going.
Rivalry between both coaches, not just the programs. Judging by those numbers, we should have a ton of players in the program, but that isn't the case. New Bern played Hoggard (2,327 kids), Millbrook (2,386 kids), Rolesville (2,321 kids), Jordan (2,200 kids) just in the playoffs alone, that's 4 teams with 600+ more kids. The offense will stay. The Eagles should be one of the favorites in the 2A East.

He's a big UNC fan and folks love him, so let him do it. Multiple 4* in state kids are committing here in the next few weeks, we'll see if it worked.
Oh I know he is a big fan of the Heels. When he bought a house in Elk River Club he didn’t want anybody to know he was living in a Country Club. Might hurt that image.
