No decent team likes to play a game like this. But as coach said before the game we have to give the starters reps to within reason. And he did just that, subbing in the second qtr. The second and third team will try their hardest to score or keep the other team from scoring, which they did. Lejeune played every down and didnt lay down. They were just WAY over matched. Look at last weeks scores, lots of games like this, Reidsville, Northwestern, ect. Is there equity to all conferences, NO and never will be. After the first two punt returns we didnt even have players back for the rest of em. Are we gonna lay down and play down ....NO. Next two games are within 4 days of each other. Good thing we didnt seem to have any injuries. Cant say the same for Lejeune, 1st and 2nd string QB put out and some others. Hated to see it but it comes with the game. Probably gonna be about the same for the remaining 5 conference games. But as coach said , aint gonna be like that in the playoffs.
Writeup in JDN this morning. Jordan with 246 rushing plus a 74 yard punt return and 5 TDs. He went to the bench before the end of first half. How bad was it, SWO with only 7 first downs in the game. Lejeune coach said SWOs smallest player was their biggest and they knew that before the game. A lejeune back did have 94 yards out of a total of 110. After the first punt return SWO didnt even put anyone back for the kicks. We had way to many flags. Game on the 16th at Dixon and then on the 19th with Richlands. They both lost last night in conference play.
