The Lincolnton back is going to take the snap, he sees what looks like some daylight, but the Bandys defenders close in, and just when they think they have him, he disappears, then reappears ahead of them for additional yards. We call it our phantom play, and it comes at a time when we really need it. I bet they couldn't believe what they saw.
Maybe we can use it to snap Maiden's long win streak against us. Wish we'd had it when we played East and North Lincoln. They'd have been yelling like wild men calling up the NCHSAA.
