I once went to a game at East Lincoln, where the field was very wet...despite dust choking the roads andparking lots around the stadium... Unless there's severe fog, or the starlings come to roost, the skies should be friendly for passers.

Lol...I see no one will let EL get away with that field. It was the only wet spot in Lincoln Co. that day.
Huss didn't knock anything out of anyone's sails ... they threw up three prayers that the football gods answered for them ! Probably should have been 48-13 or so but hey they made plays
Huss was most athletic team we've seen this season and what was deemed the best defense we've seen this season! We scored 48 on them meaning we would score 120 on Lincolnton and about 80 on Reidsville
Ok I even laughed at my last statement LOL ... bottom line is win and advance so I'd be happy with a one point win...
Deep down both fan bases were tickled to death we went big 2aa and you all know it ..it's ok to admit it .... ha ha ha

I work in Denver...so I know first hand how all that went down....
Raises my hand....but somewhere in my gut I think we'd be in the ballpark just like last year....
Absolute truth Mr G! Reidsville and Lincolnton both great ball clubs and would be tall order for anyone

To be honest I was looking forward to a Lincolnton vs Shelby rematch.
I was little disappointed to hear y'all went big 2a and we went small 2a. Once I heard about the game Huss had last week vs that great Shelby D! I was even a little more disappointed... Knowing the football Gods and the Wolves WRs would have been answering prayers all night long!

I would of loved to see Reidsville play shelby regardless win or lose to win ya got to beat the best and shelby is the three time champs so until they get knocked off by someone I can't say anything bad about em. All I can say is good luck against Monroe gonna be a little tougher then last week
I would have liked a rematch with Shelby, but if Shelby went small we would have had to play Reidsville last week. So who knows what matchup we'd be talking about at this point. Beating those two back to back would be a tall task. Sure would be fun to go back to just four classes and not have small and large. Just imagine if the winner of Lincolnton/Reidsville had to play the winner of Shelby/Monroe next week.
Yeah the I can completely see where those Shelby Dbacks had those receivers covered like a tight fitting glove. How crazy of me

And yes, a drought. Surely, he based his comment on state championships, and the so called football capital of NC hasn't won one since 09. Stephen A. Smith would say he had two more inches on his hairline then. Holla at you Friday night.

Right, but don't go feeling yourselves after beating two unathletic mountain teams, and a decent, soon to be 1A North Rowan, then take shots at our so called struggle versus a red hot Huss team. Every championship caliber team has that kind of game along the way, when a team plays them closer than expected.

On the 4th day of the week my favorite team gave to me.... 4 major TD makers to marvel at and see.
On the 5th day of the week my favorite team gave to me.... a 5 TD performance and a 34 - 28 West Regional Championship victory.

Been impressed with number 11 accuracy all year completing nearly 65 to 70%of his passes . The connection he's made with 82 and 14 this year has been phenomenal. The balls have been dropping right in their hands
Not to sound stupid,but if Lincolnton and Reidsville were both undefeated,I believe the Rams would win by 3 touchdowns.....I believe the game is a toss up now because the wolves don't want to feel like that again..they always do better in the playoffs with a loss...
