The fact that NW Cabarrus and Mt. Pleasant were able to keep their games close with JM Robinson indicates that they might have vulnerabilities that can be exploited.I am sure both teams have changed a lot from their earlier season scrimmage. Game planning will be involved this time. Both teams are pretty balanced offensively. JM Robinson has a good group of skill guys and have blown most of their opponents out but most of those opponents were pretty weak if we are being honest. NW Cabarrus and Mt. Pleasant both played JM tight. Ashbrook best NW 24-7 so I think that bodes well for KM. This game is going to come down to defense. Whose defense is going to step up the most? Playoffs are all about matchups. I don’t think KM is a good matchup for Robinson.
I agree with everything except comparing what Ashbrook did against a team they’ve played. Kind’ve apples to oranges for me. I do think KM will win but from what I seen last night East Lincoln’s offense was more of a match up problem for KM than what I believe Robinson’s will be. I felt like whoever would’ve won between KM/EL had a great chance to get past Robinson. They aren’t horrible against the run but the good teams will be able to run on them or have success against their defense. The fact that NW Cabarrus and Mt. Pleasant were able to keep their games close with JM Robinson indicates that they might have vulnerabilities that can be exploited.
We knew that EL’s passing scheme against our young safeties was going to be problematic lol. It’s also why our defense tends to play so well in the second half. Coach Carroll teaches and adjusts at halftime. One of the best coaches I’ve seen. We do have some injuries we are battling through but I feel great about where we are. Losing our most consistent and top sack leader on our d-line hurts prior to the EL game but I trust Carroll to find a way.I agree with everything except comparing what Ashbrook did against a team they’ve played. That QB went back to Chambers.I've only seen J.M. Robinson in a preseason Jamboree and they looked good. Decent size and speed and a good QB. They also have one of best receivers in the state. If I can remember his last name is Rowe. Other than that I'm not sure how good they really are because Jamborees don't give you a full picture of the team. Plus they were playing weak competition that night.
I didn’t realize that qb left. That QB went back to Chambers.

Marshall. Hate it for him because chambers didn’t have much success.
Beam joked on fb that the OC should be fired for not passing more..We knew that EL’s passing scheme against our young safeties was going to be problematic lol. I agree that schedule just ain’t battle tested..KM had developed that knack for finishing games I think JM in trouble big Tex and Hill gone have a field dayI can’t wait to make the trip to Cabarrus County to play the undefeated JM Robinson Bulldogs. I am just going to come out and say it. Robinson in trouble this week…
Good Luck SD24 - Nothing like going to their house and delivering basketballs..I can’t wait to make the trip to Cabarrus County to play the undefeated JM Robinson Bulldogs. I am just going to come out and say it. Robinson in trouble this week…
Yes sir!Good Luck SD24 - Nothing like going to their house and delivering basketballs..
They have to give us something. You can take away the pass or you can take away the run but they can’t do both!I agree that schedule just ain’t battle tested..KM had developed that knack for finishing games I think JM in trouble big Tex and Hill gone have a field day
The freshman receiver (Hutchens) got his first varsity start and had a great impact not only catching, but down field block as well. Hate the sack leader (Odems) seems to be done for the year. I see him being moved to LB next year and racking up bigger numbers next year. They have to give us something. You can take away the pass or you can take away the run but they can’t do both!
Love seeing the JV call ups making an impact! The freshman receiver (Hutchens) got his first varsity start and had a great impact not only catching, but down field block as well. We also started another freshman jv call up (Camp) at d-line last Friday. We have another jv who was called up prior to the Ashbrook game (Littlejohn) who has been playing extremely well at defensive tackle. Our sophomore and freshmen classes are deep and talented.Love seeing the JV call ups making an impact!

Saw them last year and they had good size but no push. Different year and they maybe different but you have to have some strength and speed against certain types of defenses like KM.How big is that Robinson OL?
Hated that Semaj went down. He set’s that edge and plays hard every play. He is a lot stronger than he looks. 6’4 with those long arms that stretch out forever, I noticed almost every team was doubling him late in season on passing plays and he was still getting to qb. I expect him to start picking up some offers as his film gets out there more. He has the frame to add some good weight so not sure where colleges may want to see him play. The freshman receiver (Hutchens) got his first varsity start and had a great impact not only catching, but down field block as well.
