KM vs Robinson

Still deciding on going to this one or Indy/Hough but will not be shocked at all if Kings Mountain pulls it off.

I am sure both teams have changed a lot from their earlier season scrimmage. Game planning will be involved this time. Both teams are pretty balanced offensively. JM Robinson has a good group of skill guys and have blown most of their opponents out but most of those opponents were pretty weak if we are being honest. NW Cabarrus and Mt. Pleasant both played JM tight. Ashbrook best NW 24-7 so I think that bodes well for KM. This game is going to come down to defense. Whose defense is going to step up the most? Playoffs are all about matchups. I don’t think KM is a good matchup for Robinson.

The fact that NW Cabarrus and Mt. Pleasant were able to keep their games close with JM Robinson indicates that they might have vulnerabilities that can be exploited.

I've only seen J.M. Robinson in a preseason Jamboree and they looked good. Decent size and speed and a good QB. They also have one of best receivers in the state. If I can remember his last name is Rowe. Other than that I'm not sure how good they really are because Jamborees don't give you a full picture of the team. Plus they were playing weak competition that night.

I agree with everything except comparing what Ashbrook did against a team they’ve played. Kind’ve apples to oranges for me. I do think KM will win but from what I seen last night East Lincoln’s offense was more of a match up problem for KM than what I believe Robinson’s will be. I felt like whoever would’ve won between KM/EL had a great chance to get past Robinson. Can see this being a defensive game.

They aren’t horrible against the run but the good teams will be able to run on them or have success against their defense.

We knew that EL’s passing scheme against our young safeties was going to be problematic lol. It’s also why our defense tends to play so well in the second half. Coach Carroll teaches and adjusts at halftime. One of the best coaches I’ve seen. We do have some injuries we are battling through but I feel great about where we are. Losing our most consistent and top sack leader on our d-line hurts prior to the EL game but I trust Carroll to find a way.

That QB went back to Chambers.
