Really good football game. Congrats to SP on winning the Big South tonight.
Good win South Point. South Point has a really good all around team. SP more than likely ended the Cleveland County strangle hold on what may be the Big South’s last season. Nothing to hang our heads about, our kids gave great effort. South Point and Ashbrook should be interesting next week, strength against strength.
28 - 21 and 27 - 26, that makes SP 2 - 0 vs Cleveland County. Sounds like KM & Crest will be playing for second place.
Eli had a high ankle sprain in practice. He played tonight but he wasn’t his self but he played really hard and did the best he could do. South Point was just the better team tonight.
High point for the night for SP fans is that it appears they found a kicker and he’s a freshman.
We were wondering who he was. We speculated that it might be a mountain school transfer. Knew we hadn't seen him before. He did a great job last night.

I think they have a classy staff and most of their players appear to be as well. There were a couple that didn’t seem to fit in over there with the respectable group. Can’t believe one of them got away with his actions and antics without a flag being thrown.
wasnt the high point for me. I bet we have 10 guys over there that can kick XPs. The high point was beating the mustard colored pee out of KM at their place.

Congratulations again to South Point for the big win Friday. The coaching staffs for both teams spoke very highly of each other’s teams. South Point is definitely in the driver’s seat for the Big South. While I think Ashbrook is built defensively from a personnel standpoint to stop an offense like SP, I think SP wins this upcoming week and pretty much seals the #1 seed in the conference.
