Just a guess: I think Area I was the Area to host this years tournament. Hi-Toms got the bid and Area I lost a seed because they didn't host the tournament. It rotates each year as to what Area host each year. If the Area doesn't put in a bid then it goes to the highest bid.

This may be a silly question, but do all of the kids playing for Burns legion, play for Burns High?

I think most, if not all, play for Burns High either at the JV or varsity levels. May be a couple of young kids that are not yet at the JV level. So Burns High should continue to be pretty good the next few years. These Burns High players will be eligible to play senior legion ball in the future for either Cleveland County or Cherryville depending upon where they live.
