With the DC Jamboree getting rained out I really didn’t get the chance to fairly assess what JK will bring to the table in week 1. I hope we are able to beat Pender I don’t think they have had a decent team in quite sometime but I definitely don’t expect JK to run away with this one. After watching a couple scrimmages, the defense looks pretty decent but we truly lack depth. A lot of the better kids from last season have not come out to play this season. Offense is going to be a challenge when we get to conference against stronger defenses! JK 28 - 14

We are going to have to keep the offense pretty “vanilla” for the first two-three weeks of the season and lean heavily on the defense and there is nothing wrong with that. As long as we just keep getting better each week. In the few plays I was able to see at the scrimmage the offense has to come to practice ready to work everyday. QB and receivers timing has to get much better.
