Drive stalls. Wallace to put at their own 24. Rams take over at Wallace 35, net punt of 11 yards, not ideal. If Rams score here, Wallace will have to move quickly, which is not something they like to do.
Havelock goes for it and....DENIED. Wallace takes over deep in their own territory, under 2 minutes left.
Yes, they did. You hold Havelock to 21 points, you did pretty damn good. They're not big but they are fast, very impressive victory on the road.

I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and skip the JK Clinton game. I can't miss the WRH ED game, that will be an absolute blood bath. Whoever wins that game wins in last minute probably and goes all the way to state.
Yea ED and WRH are carrying the torch right now and doing a damn good job doing it. Tigers will rise again but not this year
I would not be surprised if both teams are representing the east in 2AA(East Duplin)and 2A(Wallace) respectively.....ED beating Jacksonville last week and Wallace beating Havelock tonight were huge victories
Both are capable of getting a Duplin County sweep this year and God knows that would be big for all of Eastern NC
This is a big statement in the east.....depending on how Havelock finishes this season.

Who ever makes it from your side of the state won't win either way.
2A West plays tougher teams than Havelock and Jacksonville and can win by bigger margins. Enjoy this moral victory and your winning season.

Great wins by ED and WRH, but.....considering who the DarkHorses have played, don't count the DarkHorses out just yet.They're not that far removed from last years 13-1 team. We'll see down the stretch!
so, being my ED boys edged out a win over Jville, and WRH beat Havelock, the natural question is how does Jville and Havelock matchup. are they both pretty even overall, or is one team clearly better than the other? i have a friend with a son that plays for Jville, and he says that Jville is loaded with talent. any of you guys/gals got any insight on this comparison?
I am from the western part of the state and moved down here last Feb...I have seen Jacksonville play and they did not impress me like WRH did...I believe that Havelock will beat Jacksonville in a nailbiter...Jacksonville does have some talent though,no question about that...
