I am not saying it is not correct but saying let there be an official announcement and stop your hearsay until then. You keeping this going can not be good for the Mount Airy football players coming in this fall wondering who the coach will be. That is more of what I am looking at. It is not bothering Freedom players as much because they know they have no coach yet. It can bother a team more that they may be losing a coach that just won back-to-back State Championships with them and may be leaving. So how about cooling it until we all know for sure? 100%
Lol as long as I have been on here I've never ran across a active football playing kid. Hell I've asked players and they didn't even know the forums existed unless parents brought it up. And I'm amazed if this hasn't already made it through the community or team at Mt airy. And lastly y'all are back to back champions, I think ur underestimating the mental toughness of your kids. To do that feat y'all's kids have to be mentally and physically tough.
As far as jumping around on boards our non conference schedule is nothing but 3a and 4a schools so yes I do go on other boards. Granted we don't play down to 1a schools. The variety is the spice of life it's a good thing to go across forums and read and interact with different people. So much information can be learned that way

You are not even a lifelong Bear fan as I have been since the early to mid-1960s when I turned a teenager. And yes I have a lot of diabetic-related health problems and some nights I can't even go to sleep and I get 3 or 4 hours sleep the next day. Diabetes affects every part and organ of your body. My Mom, Dad, and Sister all died with the same problems that I have. My Mom had her leg amputated about 6 months before she passed away. So you keep calling me sick as though I have a sick mind. Maybe you will get it someday and know how it affects your whole body and worry constantly about what part of your body will it affect next. You have chosen to side with someone in a 2A conference over a true lifelong BEAR fan who loves his school football team and you never even went to Mount Airy. I do appreciate how you support the BEARS now, thank you for what you do but don't put down another lifelong BEAR fan. I have known and respected you for years since your son Alex played basketball at Mount Airy and I think he is the one who transferred to Oak Hill Academy, or am I thinking of someone else's son? I used a football forum for the intent and definition of a forum, to seek and provide information on such said topic. And much to your disagreement I don't think this form was ever meant to be a segregated form based on your classification.
Yes, there was a lot of comment when Starmount was looking for a coach but only after you announced Starmount was looking for a new head coach not before their last coach left and that is the way it should be and not by rumors that disrupt the whole process before everyone is 100%. Sportsnut got on to someone a few weeks ago for posting something that was just a rumor and not substantiated yet and put a stop to it.

We are all good. I'll look at this whole thing as a good thing. I feel like I made some new friends in an area that I'm normally wouldn't come across. And expanded some football talk outside of peoples personal universe. If I can make a few more friends and keep the number higher than new enemies 😂 it's a good thing.
