It’s just facts all schools do it , and our little brother Burns does it and has done it and will continue to do it
This is the issue is Crest fans say yep we do and the Burns and Shelby slappies get all tore out of the frame and say we would never. But you do.

Screen shots and technology don’t help some now days when it comes to “offers”. Had one say a “member” in the off-season would only talk in person to avoid being recorded or screen shots. 😂 It’s comical!!

I know for a fact just a few short years ago Burns football staff was begging I mean recruiting a Crest player and his dad , both decided to stay at Crest which was the best move.
Dad was going to be on staff but hey threats not recruiting.
He declined due to not enough goats thrown in the deal.

Had ER kept a football team we would have known if you are right. He was not recruited though.

😂😂😂 I am pretty sure I know who you are talking about and that is funny. The deal didn’t happen for multiple reasons and one was the “actual” staff said hell no to what was offered our way. Don’t always take a disgruntled dad and his kids word because they hated the current coach. I don’t fault you for that one though. There was a lot more to that one and the majority of people on your side heard that same line. You don’t know Devine at all if you think “Begging” was done. This is the same coach that sat a star player for being late. He didn’t play him nor did he play him a week after beating his old team. 😂🤦♂️😂

Oh I will and you are wrong about your details but keep deflecting. It’s awesome. We don’t recruit state titles. We have 1 but we did it our way. That’s 1 more than the majority of schools in NC.

Some of the best times of my life at UC and around a bunch of great folks throughout the league (including two in this thread) I always tried to make it all about the league and kids and honestly pulled for all kids ….not just ours
Truthfully I probably could have answered my own question. lol I knew how you ended up in the Ankle for sure. UC was glad to have you. Never heard a bad thing about your time there. My time coaching has been nothing short of a blessing and I don’t have near the tenure most have.
i like you BB02…you seem like a good guy and a very passionate BD supporter. That’s awesome, Burns needs folks like you, but if you, Crest, Burns, KM, Shelby fans think recruiting by ALL is not a reality, I got some cheap ocean front property I want to sell you in South Beach.
It’s not about being a fan of any team. I pull for all CC, Gaffney, RC teams. Facts are facts and it’s okay. Take off the blinders!! I have plenty of facts, but no way I’m going to name call on here or even complain about it. It’s all fair game big dog. There’s no holier than thou involved in this. However, you do need to be enlightened like many others or just accept the truth.

😂 Don’t take my post as complaining. My ass will get up tomorrow, work, be a dad, try not to piss the wife off and enjoy life. I don’t get emotional about something completely out of my control and high school kids on any given night can surprise you good or bad. That my friend is a fact. I don’t think your version of recruiting is my version though and that’s ok. There are volunteers in all programs who can wear a shirt on Friday. Some of those can do a lot of talking that in no way represent the wishes of paid staff members. That sometimes gets lost in translation. I know where you are coming from though. I’ll be a Bulldog fan at 0-10 or 10-0. I’ll take our 1 title over Crest 6 and Shelby’s 700 or whatever Dynasty said. (We know bro!! We know!!)

Switching gears a little bit. I know Crest Middle beat Burns yesterday in OT. Was anyone at the game? How does the future look for the Burns Bulldogs? I've heard we have some good players. How's the QB?
Hopefully someone can answer. On the Crest side, I know that last years middle school team was really good but the majority of them are on JV and Varsity now. So I'm not sure how good Crest is either.
I believe they are playing a lot of 7th graders this year.
Every school in every state has accepted transfers no matter if they recruit them or they legitimately move. Just be happy these kids get an opportunity and hopefully a legitimate support system throughout the year. Hopefully everyone can be happy for the kids getting their shot wherever they are instead of complaining it’s not with their team.
