Don't worry, it all changes after this year. Fingers crossed y'all can redraw those lines again and push numbers down.Nobody this year.
Truth and they will petition to play 1ADon't worry, it all changes after this year. Fingers crossed y'all can redraw those lines again and push numbers down.
It’s funny because it’s true.Trust and they will petition to play 1A
Remember there will be 8 classifications
Will be the only team in the state to petition to play down
SPs group of talent is about way more than any one player.I don’t disagree if Blee stays under center. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see him give up football.
You must have missed the '2-23 pass coverage. It isn't about pass coverage issues....it is about what you can do and are willing to do upfront. Sp had a difference maker upfront for four years plus players on the back end during that time and they played good coverage. You can cover four receivers for five seconds and give up a late scramble throw and it looks like DB issues to the layman and females but most of us know better. No one at SP fears Crest. Until they figure out how to stop the option the SP/Crest games will continue to be toss ups no matter what athletes are on the sidelines. Same thing can be said about SP and the pass coverage.
That is the truth.Stupidity runs rampant on this thread. Kinda like when the Dems tell us how inflation is down and expect everybody to believe it.

Yeah if you can get pressure on the qb makes a big difference. No one can cover indefinitely. You must have missed the '2-23 pass coverage. Certainly, it is. But anyone would be a fool to assume an option team doesn't lose a step when the QB is removed from the equation. See 2011 SP when Horne went down.SPs group of talent is about way more than any one player.
Let me rephrase. Schematically, the pass coverage is flawed. In 22-23 we had arguably the best secondary SP has ever seen. So we can't base our premise on an anomaly. The scheme is to not get beat deep; which in turn, when playing teams that can dink and dunk we get abused. 10-15 yards off the ball at the snap is insane. You must have missed the '2-23 pass coverage. it sounds like you're talking about corner play. I understand what you're saying. I think we saw more of that last year. But, the offenses that are the norm now have just started happening around here in the last 6-7 years so if you look around and see the scores and pass yards given up it isn't a SP problem, it is a football problem for everyone. Example: Crest didn't just score and pass on SP. That offense the last two years was great against basically everybody. Shelby regularly sees championship time because they can pass and score big points consistently, ETC.Let me rephrase. Schematically, the pass coverage is flawed. How is the Crest Press Box coming along
Taking shape but not as far as Burns. How is the Crest Press Box coming along
Are they on pace to have it completed before the season startsTaking shape but not as far as Burns.
All the block is laid. Trusses are there, and roof to go on next. How is the Crest Press Box coming along
Will Crest and Burn’s press boxes be identical? All the block is laid. Trusses are there, and roof to go on next.
I believe the same plans. Way to save money. Will be interested to see what each school adds to make it unique for them. Will Crest and Burn’s press boxes be identical?
Maybe a line up of
KM/Reidsville
Shelby/West Charlotte
Crest/Monroe
Burns/AC Reynolds
Just a guess but That would be pretty stout if that was the line-up.
Yea it definitely helps to save money. Long overdue project taking place at both schools. I hope over the next 4 months before the season starts up that both schools will be able to use it fully.I believe the same plans. Way to save money. 4 months sounds like plenty of time to have them both up and running.Yea it definitely helps to save money. Long overdue project taking place at both schools. I hope over the next 4 months before the season starts up that both schools will be able to use it fully.
And Crest should probably be named The Larry McEntire press box..4th and a taxi ride..If the powers that be at Burns dont name that press box the Tony Beaver press box, dirty anklians shall riot LOL
Yes, except one will be named CREST, and one BURNS. 🤣Will Crest and Burn’s press boxes be identical?
Absolutely agree! If the powers that be at Burns dont name that press box the Tony Beaver press box, dirty anklians shall riot LOL
Totally agreeAnd Crest should probably be named The Larry McEntire press box..4th and a taxi ride..
I think it a shame that Mike Stewart’s name isn’t on something over there.Totally agree
Again totally agreeI think it a shame that Mike Stewart’s name isn’t on something over there.
Stewart has a long Coaching Tree and a bunch of former players also Coach and train kids..takes a great Coach to get multiple 4A Chips..I think it a shame that Mike Stewart’s name isn’t on something over there.
Me and a buddy coached his son in basketball. He was a great guy and fun to be around.I think it a shame that Mike Stewart’s name isn’t on something over there.
Turning my Crest hatred off for a min. Mike Stewart changed the game over there. Nobody can deny it. 94 may be the only title we have at Burns but that year was special for both schools reaching the top the same year. Look at the two coaches that got them there. LEGENDS! Talk about building programs from the ground up and earning it. They both changed the game.Me and a buddy coached his son in basketball. He was a great guy and fun to be around.

He was an awesome coach. Turned Crest into whatever it is. Won two 4A titles when it wasn't a watered down mess. Innovtive, and demanding plus he was a killer. That's a huge achievement. That's extremely tough to do, especially in the Tommy Knots era of those days. I have no horse in the race, but that sounds like a GOAT coach.
Do you guys remember the incredible 95 Shelby vs Crest game? What excitement
