Just follow the GPS. The land was swapped out of forest service for another piece land so it is tribal land. Like BK said Casino has options like a steak house, somewhat Olive Garden, Buffett and a food court for those over 21.
Cherokee is the total package. They are big, fast, strong. They are very aggressive and will hit you. They have a power runner who has speed, they have a QB who can thread the needle and can kill you if he runs. It’s just the total package. Wait till you see their facilities. You will think your at a college game and last but not least their fans are passionate and loud. The place will be full so I suggest getting their early.
Not very good eating options in Cherokee besides the Casino. Paul’s restaurant is a good place in Cherokee. If you want a good iconic place make the 10 mile trip to Bryson City and hit up nabers. Casino good restaurants a bit pricey. As for the school turn past Hardee’s and it’s on big cove road you can’t miss it lol
Actually on the river there is a restaurant that serves Indian Flatbread. It is like a big open face taco and is really good. They also serve fresh trout and sometimes catfish. Google the First Citizens bank in Cherokee. Drive past it heading towards the Smokies. The restaurant is on the left, right near a nice hotel. Sorry I can't remember the name but it is really good and will be packed.
Bring your hand warmers too it gets cold on that there river. And don’t pet the elk
Has the high school / football feild made many changes in the last 4 years ? I first made the trip up to Cherokee trout fishing and always stopped and marveled at the football feild 
what a sight !!! I always thought that it was amazing that the feild was soo beautiful and the football team struggled so much. I'm really really glad to see the program is on the up side now. Comming from a program that just had a coaching change and is trying to find their identity and is struggling for wins I really appreciate what the Braves have done

Our boys don't mind contact and I hope unz don't mind a full 4 quarters of it!! Union came out enthused but it left bout half way thru 2nd quarter, if they could've kept tha want to then it might have been different!!

You could always stop in Sylva on the way and hit Bogarts. They have good fried catfish, prime rib some nights, and other good food. Only about 25 minutes to the Rez after that. Have fun. Go Braves!
I don't know about the other guys but hell I hope y'all get all the best of everything up their. Hope that casino makes the road to the school solid GOLD !!!! Yea we have the "education lottery" that lines the pockets of probley 10 people and schools never see nothing but pennies. You go Cherokee !!!!!! But the game with TJ I have talked with a couple people this week that knows more about the program than me and my take is if Cherokee is as physical as y'all as its a wrap. Sounds like it's gonna be like y'all last game don't think that TJ has been punched in the mouth this year. We will see what happens tho hope everyone has a great game
My 2 cents
They usually close for the winter some time around November and open up again in March. If it's still open, it's a winner.
