That's not bad. Especially after Crest did their big one.
The Burns baseball page said they are still selling tickets til 9:30 in the morning at the school. Hopefully they will extend that longer.
We don't eat our own.
Very disappointing to say the least. I try to mentor these kids....we try to mentor these kids. Been trying for years but actions have consequences. Unfortunately they don't realize it doesn't just hurt themselves... it hurts their teammates, the school, classmates, the fans, the entire community. Just very disappointing and frustrating.

Hmmm..... I'm in Raleigh.... went to the State vs VA Tech game. Won't be back until tomorrow afternoon. Wonder if there is a way I can get one remotely.

Big win for the Lions. That will give us the JV Championship and with Shelby Middle winning I believe their 3rd straight Championship the future looks good.
Game Day! Bulldog 012 woke up this morning, and looked at himself intensely in the mirror, thinking about tonight’s game…. never even blinking. With all that has happened this week, Burns should win. However, I have the Lions digging deep, and winning 21-17. Give y’all’s bold score predictions.

How many players will be missing and what impact will it have on the team. I have only heard rumurs no specifics.
What you’ve most likely heard is accurate, and that’s enough as is.
Sick wise maybe 3 but all hurts us because there starters..

Lol hate the board got so quiet the last couple days. I hate it for the kids…costly mistakes not only for the team and community but most importantly themselves and future decisions as well.
I was riding with dogs the whole time. Thought it would potentially be a shootout, but now I just don’t see it. Burns pass D is the strength and has been from week one. Look for #11 and #23 to be making plays on that side of the ball. Often overshadowed by Haynes and Allen.

Tough game tonight for the guys. Insane what happened. I expect this to be very tight. Whoever wins the rushing battle, takes this one..
I never make predictions, but I do like our chances more today than I did earlier in the week for several reasons that have been discussed already. However, if we take Shelby a little lighter because of their circumstances, we can and will take an L.

That was two great games no doubt. The NL game was definitely one of the top I have ever been to. The Salisbury game still makes me scratch my head for going to wildcat with the back up after the RB marched down the field. But hey it is what it is!
That 2019 North Lincoln game I had 3 heart attacks and possibly a stroke. Talk about a playoff atmosphere. Many people forget Burns was down. 14-0 in that one and forced a 24-24 tie with a last second field goal. Held North Lincoln on 4 downs then 1st play of their possession ended it. Incredible game.
Another of my recent favorite games was the Spring 2021 13-12 Burns / Hibriten 1st round game. That game was 0-0 at halftime
As for tonight I'm apparently one of the only ones who has no idea what happened at Shelby or how many were involved but I was gonna take my Dawgs anyways tonight and obviously still will. It most definitely will not be easy though.

Winless, that would be losses to all the other county teams for Shelby.
Let me ask in a way that kids aren't put in spotlight. The kids who where removed from team offense or defense players. Was it more then 2 and less than five ?? And was this a team or school infraction or is it more serious as in following these kids into the future ??
