Losses to 3A KM by 5. 4A Wataga on the road by 8 & Shelby on the road by 2. None of those are bad losses. Wataga is the only one of those that's not playing anymore. Burns has everything they need to go up the mountain and knock off a really good Hendersonville team. I actually think this is a pretty good matchup for us honestly.

I really believe most Cleveland County fans try to make positive remarks about one another except for when we play each other- then it’s fun banter we exchange back in forth in jest, except a very few KM posters who like to jab others even when KM is not the subject being discussed. I don't know anything about Daniel, that's why I disregarded them. I don't know if they're athletic or not, or what they run on offense. Are they big? Fast? No idea.
I was at the Daniel vs Hendersonville game it was a blood bath , Daniel was the fastest team I've seen at high school level , they were a well oiled machine offensively and got after it defensively , by far best team I've seen in a long while ,so I'm going to have to agree with playa
So with that said...it has zero relevance to anything of this ball game. Matter of fact nothing matters before now. The only thing that matters is Friday night at 7:30 somebody is starting their last game of the year...

Heck 02- the way it sounds Daniel is ACC ready. So what this basically means to me is it doesn’t matter if they played Hough they’d win. I’d they played Burns they’d win and heck might could even take down big Shelby. But somehow it puts relevance in their mind that they stepped in the field with them. This is all theory but I know one thing for a fact...Burns has picked up some big road wins in the playoffs over the last few years. I see another one Friday night. I think it’ll be a dog fight...chance of rain as well. Can’t wait for Friday.

Not sure about NFHS but I did see where Burns was trying to get a $500 sponsorship to help cover the broadcast fee so they could video stream the game this week. Not sure if they've been able to or not.
