In 1982 I checked into Camp Lejeune. Enroled my son at Lejeune. Went to see The Devil Pups play. It happened to be against SWO. Ever since then I havn't pulled for anyone BUT the Stallions. Yes when they were out of the playoffs I was conference loyal. And then the East for Title Game. Wont be any different this year or ever as far as Im concerned. They will field a team in 2022 and Im with them. Good, bad, or indifferent. Seen it all from them, from the bottom to the top. Still 3 months till the first game this year.

Semper Fi ..... lived by it for 40 years with the Marine Corps, and will live by it for SWO ..... "Always Faithful"

Semper Fi thank you for your service brother. I bleed black and orange till I leave the earth period. I'll ride with them this year period... 50 yard line top row. I've set for 27 years

Hope to give you a little company at some point this year. Oct or Nov I'm a thinkin. My old seat from 1982-2003 was on the top row, 45 yard line near the school. Now it on my porch listening to Billy and Melvin.Tried and get the same spot at away games also.

Things are great here in the Ozarks. It went from winter to middle of summer in two weeks this year. Hope the local HS team is good again this year. Hard to lose an all state QB who also was in the top 10 rushing. His brother is back at RB tho and he is good. Great football name .....Smith ..lol

Its great to hear from a true Stallion Fan on this board....Good, Bad, or indifferent...If you were around Lejeune those years you may remember Hank Tweed and those boys and also the great coach Tom Mcgee who coached baseball there for many years...But it great to hear from a true fan that does not bash coaches and especially teenagers who play sports!

knew Tom Mcgee well. Played a lot of golf with him and talked hs sports. Lejeune has a baseball title and soccer as well. Seen some mighty good players there, just didnt have them around to long, as most military based schools dont. One of the best games i saw was SWO went to Lejeune with big heads and over confident. The Devil Pups gave em a lesson that night on hustle. They were like weebles, knock em over and they popped right back up and came back for more. HaD A GOOD season going and the loss hurt ..... LOL

McGee is a great man. CL always had heart and some good athletes over the years. Just like you said most kids left. They have fallen on hard times lately, but always have heart.

One of ther biggest problems at Lejeune is the kids parents HAVE to live on base. Most senior Marines and Navy with High School kids buy houses out in town. I can and sure others can also name a LOT of super players who went to other high schools in the area vice Lejeune whose parents were Marines/Navy. If the Devil Pups had half those kids they would be awsome. Another problem is coaches, they have to have their contracts renewed by DOD every one or two years, so big turnover in that area.

Yea brother, right about contracts. They have to be reviewed and renewed every year. Hard to build a program with all that political stuff going on. Most seniors definitely love off base. SWO has had tons of great military athletes in the past. Same with jville and NS
