Do you think the 1a east will put in a better showing for themselves than the past couple years? Or will it be same old same old? Plymouth and Wallace Rose Hill were the only two teams to win out east since the split. Southside in 2004 lost to Swain 16 to 14 on a punt hiked over the punters head resulting in a safety to loose them the game. North Duplin lost to Cherokee 21-13. All other state championship games were blowouts.

Pamlico has some athletes but I don't think they have enough to hang with the West. If they make it to the championship, I don't think it will end well for them. Just my 2 cents. I hope they prove me wrong.

And what a game that was! Still feel bad for the long snapper on that one. I couldn't talk for a week afterwards.
