Independence vs Dutch Fork

I am a little surprised that this game was scheduled so late. DF stated that it just needed a game. Personally I would love to see Mallard Creek versus Dutch Fork instead of Dillon. I think that would be the more interesting game regionally. Not sure if Independence have the big boys in the trenches or the depth to play with DF for four quarters. Justin Hardin's teams are usually well-coached so we will see. Does anyone know if the Creek reached out to DF about playing? I can't see Tom Knotts being afraid to play anyone.

Albemarle's Future?

As a very painful season came to an end last night at the hands of TJA, what lies ahead? First I want to wish the seniors good luck and thank them for enduring a new experience at Albemarle. Now all we have is quest ion marks ?????. Will the school be open next year being the biggest. I really think we will have our answer by the first of the year. There is a big battle brewing between the BOE and the community. Folks we will be fighting for our very existence as a school. I would encourage everyone to get involved and and make this school board be upfront with us instead of behind closed doors. I for one will try to get all the information I can from them as to where each one stands on the future of Stanly County Schools. This decision will have a far reaching impact on this city and this county. Lets don't go quietly into the night!!!!!!
