I know West Forsyth beat the Rockets week #1 and AC Reynolds hammered a favorite Shelby team last week but can they hang with East Forsyth? they gave East trouble last year(lost 27-21) . I think AC Reynolds can give them some problems this year as well.

I still got East 31-17.

Congrats to my Falcons for going on the road and beating HC. Our new coach has us on the right track. We don't have a JV team and have about 16 Freshman on the Varsity team. We will get better as the season goes on.

Wish we didn't have to play Tarboro. lol

Best match up in the Northwest this week. Who wins this one? There are several underlying stories here. Both sides are very familiar with each other. Lowman saw an opportunity at West and took it. He is now teamed up with his #1 assistant and the offense is rolling. At East, they are playing good defense. If it is a shootout West will win. If it is a defensive battle advantage East. My thoughts. West has the best athletes, can they live up to the hype?

At least for now….Salisbury, Burns and North Stanly play later today due to all the weather delays. It appears that CSD took the loss to Country Day after being down 14-0 after 1st quarter…I’m not sure if they are trying to make that up as it was posted as a final score.

Am I the only one who was shocked that SE Alamance beat Eastern Alamance? Y’all do remember that Eastern Alamance was the only team to beat Reidsville last year. Blows me away!
The 2a east better keep an eye on that SE Alamance bunch. 🫵

I was just looking at last year's 1A playoffs and saw Bishop McGuinness played Murphy in the second round. I didn't follow them much last year in football. I watched more of their soccer games in person than watched any of their football games. Looking at their roster from last year, it appears they were very junior loaded and most of their stat leader were juniors according to maxpreps. I wonder how they might do and far they might make it this year. They didn't play last week, but are at North Stokes this week. Might be a interesting team to keep an eye on. In their conference, they should probably be the 1A representative and will probably have a higher seed because of it. Third round might be possible this year.

Any thoughts on this game, Davie may have a chance against Reynolds or parkland but the CPC looks VERY strong this year

Wow!!! Glenn is a big cesspool. Coaches wives in the stands talking about players on the field to the AD yelling at a parent to say something to his face only to retreat once that parent made his way to the AD.

What has happened to this once proud school!? Better yet what in the hell is going on? Numbers are way low and after hearing lots of parent conversations at the game, I'll shocked if they have 30 players the rest of the way. Lack of discipline, lack of foresight, lack of communication and control.

Got there late. Game was a thriller against Ragsdale. But way to many penalties. This felt like a pop warner event. The lack of professional from the AD to coaches wives. Imma go out on a limb and say i doubt they'll win 4 games this season.

Should be another good game, Richmond fell short against Gibbons so they’ll be looking to rebound. What do y’all think?

Coach Story and the Warriors get their 1st win of 2024. Game winning 23 yrd FG as time expires.

What are your thoughts on this one. I think the Dawgs will give the Scots it's 2nd L from South Cackylacky. Will be interesting to see how the coaches will play off each other. I thinks its personal for MC... and they have something to prove. Scotland will need to step up on all sides of the ball to keep the Dawgs at bay.

Reagan has upset 2 teams already and they have a QB who is headed to NC State. Grimsley absolutely ran over Rolesville. Can the Reagan Raiders actually hang with the Whirlies? IDK....tall task but Reagan has a better defense this year. Great start for the CPC CONFERENCE who are Top Heavy with East Forsyth, Mt Tabor, West Forsyth and Reagan. RJR is also undefeated but will be playing tougher competition this week.
