For my fellow Erwin fans I went out and watched the 12 team 7 on 7 at Erwin yesterday. I snapped a few pics of the new field. It looks really good, I wasn't sold on the grey at first but seeing it in person I really liked it. The turf we had before needed upgraded so I am liking it..

With a Wildcat win, Coach Smith will join an elite group of North Carolina football coaches to win 250 games. Pretty impressive.

For those that can't make it to Legion Stadium, the game will be broadcast live on ESPN radio 630 and can be heard over the Internet at www.am630.net. The broadcast begins at 7:05 with kickoff at 7:30.

I know a few players have been "redistricted" this summer to SS or to AHS. Will WS vs SS have a rivalry-type atmosphere because of this? Any predictions on the score?

Just curious to know everyone's thoughts pretty much gonna be a blowout Albemarle should just forfeit the game no need and wasting tax payers money on transportation and the state having to pay officials when it's unnesscary

This weekend at Powerade 7 on 7
Shelby finished 5 place out of 32 teams.
Lost to Mallard Creek in Ot 36-34..
Looks like another special yr, they beat some great schools along the way.,
I did see live footage of them beating 2aa Champ Monroe 49-4.

I'm glad the start of the football season is upon us. Last year was a year that us SWO fans weren't use to.......WELL... nevertheless we supported our boys through it all!! I think this year's team will be the sqaud that continues that TRADITION we have at SWO!!! We had a GREAT summer !!!! Good luck to all other schools this season but I think them STALLIONS are gonna be ready this season!!!

Heard there were some changes being made that way, any truth?
