Got quite a few sophomores thats playing really good especially on defence, I think at least 3 are staring, also we have only turned the ball over once all season, and that was when the backups were in vs Hendersonville anyway as far as I know Starmount may be the best team in 1a we will find out what they have when they play the Bears. also I may be wrong but I do belive as of now there is about 6 teams with a chance the SMC is down this year but, I still would not count Murphy out of it, they beat a decent 3a team in West Henderson.
The SMC will be Back soon Murphy and Robbinsville JV teams this year are very good both teams have a big line and very good skill players Murphy has a QB That's at least 6 foot 3 and can really sling the ball he stands tall in the pocket and don't have nervous feet Ive only saw him play once and was really impressed.

lol, East Surry would beat you worse than the week 1. And Mount Airy would beat Robbinsville twice as bad as the playoffs in 2024. The SMC has nothing for the NWC. Even Starmount beats any SMC team. Ad of this year the SMC are has been! I can see Mitchell beating anyone in the SMC playoffs.

Probably true but also, the kid more than likely couldn’t play at davie because of how talented they are.

Like I've said, the new coach should have been told he was focusing on football and football only. JV team hasn't been any better and hasn't scored yet. I don't think middle school team has been good either. If they don't figure something out anyone that's good is going to transfer in middle school and Elkin will be lucky to field a team.

That school as a whole is a shell of what it once was and they aren't doing themselves any favors.

This already happens every year Elkin loses kids to Starmount and EW. Why play at elkin and be awful when if you’re a pleasant hill or state road kid you can just got to East and win 5-7 games maybe more a year. If you’re a borderline jonesville kid go to starmount and compete for Conference championships.

Greenville lost to Towns County 42-7. I am surprised it was this close. Murphy had to of demonstrated quite a bit of restraint. That's the problem scheduling teams like this, you never know what you're get. They may have almost a completely different roster one year to the next.

Back to back shut outs for the defense. Thought our kicker tonight came up HUGE. Nearly every kickoff went out the back of the end zone.

On to homecoming vs Hickory Ridge

Asheboro might finally get their first win over MC. Ledford and ND better watch out too...

We lost but played much more competitively than I thought we would. Just gotta put it all together for four quarters...

Ledford got their shutout and the defense answered the call. Nice win but it only gets uphill from here. Panthers are pleased for another week at least.

Oak Grove is far and away the favorite. They have the offensive line and defensive front seven to give anyone headaches except bigger and more athletic teams... OG may get their deep playoff win yet this year. Rob doing fantastic.

MC loses to their toughest opponent yet in a competitive game. They will make the conference interesting even if they finish near the bottom again imo...

Central loses to a smaller but more athletic ER team. They will compete in the middle of the pack as per usual and may win a game or two they shouldn't...

I am new on this site so this will be my first post!! If you are referring to the PA announcer that is my youngest brother. Joe Bucks job please dude at least come up with a better insult!! I don't believe for 1 minute he thinks he's something or that he's better than anyone not sure where that's coming from but good to see my brother who lives in Maiden and too my knowledge hasn't ever had a bad word to say about anyone has such great support!! The sad thing is he probably knows you personally!!

They tried to make people leave on both sides WC was the side that the chaos started. It was pretty much empty. A few Creek fans hung out along the gate, and stayed.

I bet our game set the record. Flag on every play. Refs ruined the game for everybody. White hat will probably need shoulder replacement and Tommy John. I bet we watched the refs discuss penalties more than we watched actual football.
