You believe what you need to so you think you got a chance. We saw you all first hand in person and you got nothing for the bears and I mean nothing. Your QB try to run like he did against the Bears it is gonna be painful. So you can look for all the comparisons you want but everyone said oh the bears are a one trick pony, well guess what we tried new stuff in regular season so all the posters would think there was a chink in our armour then last week right back to what we did for last 2 years and ran like a well oiled machine. Sorry to bust all your one trick ponies bubbles. Come on down and get you a big dose of what a defense is all about.
I don't know if what we did last week amounts to playing good football. We finished the regular season on a 2-5 stretch in which one of those two victories was by 1pt vs an injured 4-6 team. The playoffs victory vs then 8-2 Cummings doesn't say much, because Cummings' record was a fraud. They had the 90th SOS out of 99 teams. I wasn't aware of that last week, because I thought we would lose. So although I can't knock a road playoff win, it really doesn't equate to us playing good football. We just can't hold onto leads, man. That's our biggest problem. We aren't as bad as the record says we are. We're a pretty good 3 quarters of football team. My prediction will be posted later. I do think it'll be a great game.
SG was not terrible. They lost from a fumble on the 1 yard line in OT. A terrible team doesn’t almost beat Southern Durham and Vance County. Only losing those games by self inflicted stuff. Holmes is a well coached team and the triple option can take anyone down if not defended well.
looks like now most of the snow will be toward Avery, Mitchell, Yancey, Madison Co area. And even some in Buncombe Co. Watauga still could get some but not as much..
Just for the record, I do not think we have a state championship contender team. I've thought all year we had a 2nd maybe a 3rd(depending on the seeding) round team. Just for the sake of it, I believe out of MA opponents, EW is the one who had the most success running the ball as far as yardage.
You guys have a good team and well coached team. Will be pulling for you all unless you play the bears. You all will be fine against the green team if you can beat north Rowan. Heck North Rowan sent the green team packing last year. Lol
