Also, nothing in rule 2 was broken and no one got mad, called names, or personal attacks. All talks were political !Not that anyone asked for my two cents about this, but any time the topic involves politics it's going to get contentious.
The old saying is that "politics ain't beanbag" and that's a fact. It's a hard ball topic and people are going to say things that upset others. Mostly, I think it's best to let that go but still speak your peace. I've seen some pretty harsh accusations thrown around on these boards, but so long as those are made against political office holders those seem like fair game. Take from that what you will.
Well Thunder does always derail threads like this into politics. I’m just not going to read the BS and not comment backElections over with, certification over with and inauguration over with. This thread has moved completely away from private vs. public and I do believe both sides have stated their cases on it.
Time to move back to football discussions. Second draft just came out, everyone can’t be happy with it.
Or fake charges from a judge that donated to the Democrats. Isn’t that the only trail he was found guilty in. The Supreme Court did rule on Presidential immunity thoughMaybe they should go to trial and get found guilty. We'll just deny it and get judges to block everything.
Sound familiar?
We'll spend all our budget touring 3 counties over...Y'all went from 7 to 10!
Hough is 8A - think they want to keep an even number of 8A/7A teams. Chambers would be the team to go in that case in terms of competitive balance is what you're referring to.7A/8A Conference C
Chambers 8A
Mallard Creek 8A
West Charlotte 8A
Butler 7A
Independence 7A
North Meck 7A
Heck of a conference but would love to seen them switch North Meck for Hough
Your information on Hickory is inaccurate.Best wishes to everyone hoping it changes my understanding is that Saint and Hickory both have already filed against being in the proposed conference they were put in not sure how much truth there is to that but I feel like Saint got screwed and I can't see a 9 team conference with Catawba County Schools and Lincoln County Schools with West Iredell but strange times in High School sports
Reluctantly going to say 97 miles between Chatham Central and N. Stokes. Imagine that drive on a Tuesday night.Look at North Stokes and South Stokes with the Chatham schools.
And that part is tough.Makes sense for Thomasville, but will need five (or 6) non-conference football games. Travel is great. Gates fair.
This is what I get for saying the first draft couldn’t be any worse. The committee said hold my beer and came out with this abomination. So They really want to Relive the Old NPC conference
draft #2 is
Mooresville -7A
LN- 7A
South Iredell -7A
Alexander Central 6A
North Iredell - 6A
St Stephen- 6A
Statesville- 6A
Didn’t word that exactly right, I just meant that NWG was replacing Tabor. Can’t move Tabor into that conference with them being 6A
Yep. Thought the same thing. Unless they're going to go back to 11 game seasons. That's a big blow to Cleveland County Athletic Departments.Burns and Shelby are losing a County and big money game in that scenario.
Crest has to find 4 OOC games. wow. Shelby, Burns and Catholic, but there must be one more
Ridiculous!
That’s interesting for sure! School boards and higher ups have the ability to pull strings.Yep. Anything can happen. We are ok with our coach. Not hearing good things in spruce pine
So your inventing your own conference? FYI, HD is 2nd in the LSMC as they lost to Highlands.I know I still count them since they play every year and HD done beat every team in the the big smoky
Yea, it looks to me like when they had this idea it was right after the edible kicked in. I love the teams but too many of them.Burns and Shelby are losing a County and big money game in that scenario.
