Dudley 1st team defense has not given up a point this year. There 2nd and 3rd team was scored on. Dudley team is bigger than some college teams. Forget what conference they play in. They are very talented and well coached. Speed ??? They can play man all night you're not running away from those guys. There 4 db's can run with anyone. And they will hit you as well. I state facts . Durham Hillside is still in the playoffs. Dudley had a running clock against them. That should tell you something right there

This game won't be a challenge for MH. Considering the fact that they're at least 2 TDs better than Mt Airy the only real challenge will probably come from Tarboro in the state championship. They're always tough so Heritage better be prepared.

Congrats to all the teams thats still playing.. Playing in the 3rd round is big. Monroe will come to play this week with there A game. Coach Sowell is one of the best coaches in the state and he will have the guys prepared. Its any given Friday but those kids are locked and loaded... Get your popcorn ready.

I think prior to OG, Ledford didn’t always feel that they were truly a part of Davidson County, if that makes sense. A majority of the kids lived in Wallburg and were closer to going to Winston/Kville and High Point, far from Denton, Tyro or Southmont.
I went to school in Davidson County and always pull for a school from DC when they’re playing a non-DC school (of course, everyone pulls for South bc they’re typically not a threat in any sport lol).
That all being said I still keep up with the sports in DC, but I wouldn’t want my kids attending a school in DC.

My nephews lived on Old Ball Park Rd and should have gone to Tville but the lines were BS. Not that their Ledford parents would dream of it lol. My sister is an ND grad but my brother in law is a WD grad from the Carlton Hurt days. Thy taught at Ledford and I still tease them about it even though they're both at other better places now. My nephews are Ledford grads and I am relentless but they've never had much to talk about when it comes to foozeball. Basketball on the other hand...

Anyway I hope Tville beats the breaks off Ledford and Lex always. Hoping for improvement soon but honestly Lex besting Tville is a gift nowadays since one has 550 students and the other nearly 900. Go get em Dawgs 🐺🐺🐺

" as you refer to Coach Pitman. That great coach has only lost to Avery once in his career and that was this year. Congrats on scoreboard when the team came in overconfident due to your stellar 1-7 record at the time. Heck sometimes that happens to everybody in coaching but it rarely does under Coach Pitman.

In fact, he was 10-0 previously against Avery with a combined score of 469-111 over that span (thanks to Heels10 website tip above). In fact, Coach Pitman is 113-31 over his career for a .785 win percentage but I guess that is not "great" in Avery county. Two state runner ups in big 1A and couple of west regional runner ups including barely losing to East Surry (one of the best 1A teams ever) in 2019. Call me when Avery ever gets past the first round in the 1A playoffs (now 2A I guess) and believe me that is really not that hard to do.

And by the way, Mitchell JV's won 48-6 this year for their only victory of the shortened season. So how exactly did you wear us out? So keep running your mouth as Avery people always seem to do and congrats on the win this year. I doubt it will happen again anytime soon.

Ledford I'll never cheer on. Remember when they didn't want no parts of being part of or called Thomasville, now they love it. Think it's cause the new blood from Forsyth that move in. Still, I'm a huge North and OG fan when both teams play them.😂

Coach Toms has this Crest team playing old school Crest defense. This Hickory team will be a huge challenge. The QB is tough to rattle.

New school is under construction currently next to the west end of the football stadium. It's being built to support 1500 plus students. The old high school will then be remodeled and turned into the middle school. Login to view embedded media

Looking at the records, Salisbury's 11-1 mark is impressive, but it's important to consider the strength of their schedule. The fact that Forest Hills is 1-1 against Salisbury speaks to a competitive rivalry. Eliminating penalties will be crucial for Forest Hills to maintain their momentum and capitalize on their offensive strengths.
