Depends. If there is no hard E/W split, and the classes stay as is, they would almost have to go East.

Heide Trask High School is named after C. Heide Trask, a member of the North Carolina State Highway Commission. The school's campus is built on land donated by the Trask family. Heide Trask High School opened in 2002 to prevent overcrowding at another local high school, Pender High School.

The Trask family owns a lot of land in Pender and New Hanover counties. The land UNCW is on was owned by Trask family (Trask Coliseum) Rumor has it that they donated land for the college with the expectation that football would not be played there.

The Hobbton game was over 800 miles round trip. The Princeton game was just under that. It was unique in that on both trips we could say we got home after sunrise.

I think moves were made to balance the middle classes a bit more. And even then most are east or west heavy. #clusterF

One of the big problems I see is the non-permanent East-West dividing line. A few years ago Hayesville had to make back-to-back first round playoff trips to Hobbton and Princeton. Both schools are less than 100 miles from Wilmington.

They played Northside Jacksonville in week 12. The week between the reg season and playoffs, since it was their 11th game it didnt go into maxpreps.
