I had confirmed I believed you, but said rule u stated, means Newton did agree to quit and not continue the game. And if Newton coach was upset about quitting all he had to do was not agree to it. Therefore Newton did actually quit and didn't want to continue the beating.Refer to rule 2.2.7 c-2

Would you rather be the OC at Tarboro or the HC at NE?"It" would be desire, dedication, and determination..And the fact is everybody wants to be part of a winner.. I graduated from SWE in 94. Alot of guys that could have been starting simply didn't play because the team was bad. And the coach was horrible. But we beat Tarboro in every sport except football and men's track. Those two sports Tarboro had better coaching than we did at SW. I do wonder why Rocky Babb hasn't went to North. I believe he graduated from there, not 100% sure though.
I thought Brown was a senior last year and graduated? Someone might have more info, but it was my understanding the presumed starting QB this year is a junior and broke his collarbone during the first scrimmage. I dont think he is out for the year.
The Davis kid from all accounts is quite a player in that offense. Hopefully he will be back sooner than later.
Congrats to WC on a big win for them. Looks like the ECC might be wide open this year.
My friend back in Clinton said that most of their parents signed over their parental rights so they could move in with him, and they all live in Raeford and commute daily. Idk if that is true, it’s just what he said. How do kids from Clinton follow a coach all the way down to South Carolina? Did they happen to have family in the MC school district or something, thus giving them a place to live?

I believe he graduated from there, not 100% sure though.I am always fascinated by this sort of thing. What was the "it" factor that Coach Cobb had that many other coaches do not have? The person that followed Cobb at NE should have copied every single thing he was doing to keep that program going in the right direction. The practices, off season work, weight room regimen....everything. I don't know if the folks that followed Cobb at NE just didn't put the time and effort into the program he did or what. His record clearly shows the talent is there in the NE district to field a very competitive team. I don't know if the simple answer is the people that followed him just did not care as much as he did.
Refer to rule 2.2.7 c-2Hey guys I just realized there was one good thing for Newton Friday night. They wear white jerseys for away games, so they have plenty of flags to wave to signal there intent to hickory. 🤣🤣
Nope !!!They are considered rivals. So they could play closer than what we think.
I haven’t made any other picks involving PD.Didn't some of you picked PD over Weddington by 10. I can see another 14-7 or 21-14 type game with CC winning.
YunginsThis is one year you cannot use yOunG on us. We are yUNG!! We are damn near a JV team with a few Varsity players . LOL
Please be careful. Mr. Lincolnton!Careful there, AMD. Listen, along my old jogging route, a lady had two miniature schnauzers, blinky and Miss Happy. These animals hated my guts and would just rage when I would go. The pet owner had told me to speak to them and pet them, that they were all bark.
One morning I stopped and walked over to Miss Happy, started talking to her and sure enough she stopped barking. Told her I knew she had a natural complaint since she was female and had a full beard like King Edward. I finally reached over to pet her and when I did, it showed me every tooth in its head.
Point is, some of them are piranhas in fur. Be very careful.
I don't follow Walkertown all that closely. I recall they had some success when they first opened and the few years after that. Then had a lot of years where they did not do much. I know they are 2-0 but I would expect FH to roll in this one. I can't believe in Walkertown until they beat a team like FH or at least play them close until the end.Last year Forest Hills crushed Walkertown at home. We travel up to Walkertown this Friday and it sounds like they've improved from last year's team. Forest Hills is still loaded with talent on both sides of the ball but it's the QB play that's been erratic at times. Too many INTs and Fumbles by both QBs. We gave up two scores against North Rowan due to the QB fumbling at the half yard line and another was an INT inside the 5 when the QB tried to force a pass. Not a fan of the two QB system either. Cost us in the Ashbrook game also. Honestly the JV QB is playing better than these two. Other than the QB issues we have several great receivers, 3-4 good RBs, big linemen etc. Beginning of the year I figured Walkertown would be an easy win but not now.
