West Forsyth @ East Forsyth Round #2

Ah man don't tell me that. Was thinking about riding down
If you get there after 6 pm expect a hike. Those areas he is talking about is long way to me. But he is correct it will be a mess. Always is. Of course, what would I know, my spot has always even reserved. And don’t get in any hurry leaving it will be gridlock. You might want to bring some of that brown to calm your nerves. Enjoy if you go, I will be in Charlotte.

West Forsyth @ East Forsyth Round #2

Parking lot from students should be cleared by about 4:15. We do have some people that tailgate and our students tailgate in the lot near the softball field but other than that, the sooner you get here the better spot you will get. Parking will be available up at the baseball field as well and with this big of a game in the county, I'm sure Hastings Hill and West Mountain Street will be lined with cars as well. Should be another good one tonight!

Maiden at Shelby (Round 2)

You hippie!🫵

Way back…probably before you were born…there was a pool hall with a grill in the back somewhere down there in Cleveland county. They served livermush sandwiches all the way…yep…mustard, chili, onions and slaw.

I’ll never forget how good they were.

Look out tonight….I’ll be high stepping like Elvis Peacock😂 on my way to the concession stand!

I’m hoping the Boom Devils do the same thing… if they do…they’ll win!😜

Let’s go! AMD! I know you’re ready.

Can’t wait!
If our Blue Devils play our game for 4 quarters, I like our chances too.
Here we go BLUE!!!

🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅 🦅 It’s time to fly

It was 14-14 Creek. Holmes scored quick out the gate and was held scoreless till overtime. You guys have quite a challenge tonight playing Shelby. From reading the posts on these threads one would think you might as well not even show up to play. Shelby must be really good.
Shelby is really good….but I ain’t buying all that other crap.

Massey?…my assey!😂 Simmons?…Lemons!😂

Can’t wait! Goob!

Walkertown vs Salisbury

Don't know much about Walkertown other than the game earlier in the season. That was by far the worst performance of the year by the Hornets and Walkertown made them pay. The offense for the hornets has developed a lot since early season and the defense seems to have settled in though against a weaker conference. I saw in the Salisbury post where Massey had this down as a blowout for the hornets, I am not at all ready to predict that. Not sure what lead to such a discrepancy from the earlier game to that prediction. I think this should be a great game....can't wait to watch

North Davidson vs North Lincoln

I truly don't care one way or the other, as it doesn't affect me. Just trying to give grace in a world where everyone is quick to believe the first thing they hear.

If this is indeed the case, I'll hear about it eventually. Is it possible that someone on that coaching staff could be that foolish?
Grace has been given to many at that school over the last handful of years. Those who need not be there remain sadly. Need a big clean up on Aisle-Critcher Drive.

West Forsyth @ East Forsyth Round #2

East Forsyth played West Forsyth before Butler, and West put up 42pts on them, therefore they were the ones who exploited East...Good thing West gave Butler the playbook on East so the game could be close....Stick to Charlotte Football Nepsy! you can sit this one out and stop trying to be a "know it all" BTW, Cuthbertson had a good year and gave Weddington a game.
" the playbook".....lol.

SWE 6-5 @ WRH 8-3

SWE makes its second ever trip to the backyard lot tonight to take on the powerhouse Bulldogs in what should be a cold and beautiful night for football! The first and only other time we made this trip was just a couple of years ago, in which WRH dropped a 70 burger on us in a first round matchup that we shouldn't have even been in. We had no business in the playoffs. We tried to make that same case this season, with a midseason lull that no one around here could predicted. SWE has led at halftime in 9 of its 11 games, and theoretically, could be 10-1. But our biggest problem is putting teams away. And letting teams hang around has led to the record you see today. We put our foot on the throat of our opponent last week, but this is a different beast. The Bulldogs are the ones used to putting teams away. I do feel like this year may be the best year to catch them slipping, but we still have to perform well on all cylinders, especially through the air. Which leads to our second biggest problem: we can't catch. Our sophomore QB is the most accurate high school QB I've ever seen. He throws a beautiful ball, and it will be exactly where it needs to be. You'll see. But our receivers can't catch. You'll see that too. Especially #11. He'll be open, I promise you that. He either won't catch it, or won't even have the ball thrown to him. Our passing plays get our guys open and the balls will be there. The tight end can catch, and play action to the TE is generally successful, but the receivers....ehh. We would be so dangerous on offense if we could connect regularly. So we are still a run first team, and we run well. You will hear the name J'Karie Lovely a lot. He's our speed back, and if he gets to the outside, then goodnight! We have a short bowling ball at fb whenever we need a yard, and he's pretty good at knocking a few pins down in order to pick up the first. Everybody knows he's running up the gut when he gets the ball. It's no secret.
When it comes to defense, it was a shining star early on, but then it became the reason why we kept losing. I don't know how often Wallace passes, but we have a couple of ball hawks defending the pass. I'd expect an int if Wallace throws beyond the zone. Short passes will light us up though. I don't know why our zone defense is so bad.
With all this being said, I feel like WRH pulls it out 26-19. We'll have a couple of unsuccessful 2pt attempts.
