Rolesville is so explosive. If RC can control the ball and grind it out they can have a chance. Make the game ugly and boring. If it is an high scoring game it will be difficult for RC to keep up.

I am really impressed with Millbrook's defense. They bring a lot of pressure and they are fast. They will speed up the offense and keep them out of sync. Hoggards offense sputtered some against Broughton and never found their rhythm against LR. They will have to play better. Hoggards defense is playing well and they have some kids that are finding their way due to injuries. I think This may be a defensive struggle. Both teams can win this game so it will come down to who plays better and who makes plays. Both defenses are very good, I think Hoggards offense is a little better.

As far as the rematch goes, I don’t know how to feel. My first reaction was I think JK gets revenge. I think they are the more talented team and I think that they are the better team to be honest with you. But. I’m not sure they are ready for a moment like this. They showed last game that they weren’t. Those players have never been in a spot like this before. They have all the talent but not the experience that a WRH has. What has changed between now and then? Not sure.

Mooresville D does have talent and that is true but Mooresville D can be had and it has been shown before - NWG while it was 2 play only and 1 was a 1 handed incredible catch but 2 long pass that go a TD or Deep into our territory so Mooresville has given up big pass plays before - Run is usually decent and holds up but Issue is

Mooresville in its past has struggled with Greensboro/Winston teams and also We struggle with teams who match up with talent - EF QB is a UNC commit. Also EF conference was weak as well

When you talk about top defenses in the state. The level of competition matters. MHS has played a very average schedule. You can cheer for them and be realistic at the same time.

Simmons has North Lincoln to win by 2. About what I expect. I think it can go either way. It’s going to be a good one.
