Massey has this a 6.5 point spread picking Brevard 28-21. This has the makings of a really good game. Not a lot of chatter on here about it though. This should be a classic.
I'll be there. Decided to go up early and stay over night instead of driving back late. Just don't know much about Brevard this year. FH has played them twice over the years once in 1985 and again in 2000 going 2-0.

Monroe is going to be a tough out for anyone right now . It's a shame either one of these teams to lose but one will and may the best team wins . ( just hope Shelby comes out on top even by just 1 point ) .I still say Shelby 35 -28
If Shelby holds Monroe to 28 they are winning it all and need to size the rings Friday night. Shelby may beat them but it's going to be an absolute shootout if they do. I have no problem being wrong but I am thinking of a 49-35 game.
A 4 loss West Forsyth put up 375yards on both East & Weddington mostly in the first half of both games this reg. season and I can't get that out of my mind.... The eye test from me(just my opinion) feels like East has better players and depth. Weddington plays smarter and more controlled. Grimsley has more talent on both sides of the ball vs Hough. I think that game is 2TD difference.

Gonna be cold in the Granite City tomorrow night. Running the football type weather. Unless someone can stop the MA ground game, they wont be beat anytime soon. Respect Corvian and the speed they will be bringing but I don't think they have seen a physical football team as MA will be. Might be wrong but I've got it at 31-17 MA.

It's weird because calpreps is really high on corvian. They have them only losing by 1 point to MA. But this time of year you win anyway you can weather by one point or 50
Actually you aren't the first one that brought up the penalty on the punt, I did in my first post after the game. I along with everyone that I know agree it was a terrible play and changed the game. The difference is the penalty on the punt was called and changed the game in Mt Airy's favor. The missed call above resulted in a touchdown for Mt Airy

It doesn't matter, doesn't change anything. Just frustrating how officials can dictate tight games. Sadly it seems more often than not that they determine the outcome in many instances.
Im sure Starmount had a hold or hand to the face that wasn't called when they score a TD.....IT HAPPENS AND COULD HAPPENED IN THE ma GAME WHO KNOWS! No im not mad texting in caps just dont want to go back and change lol.
