Bill Belichick to UNC

AD is terrible at UT, you can't be serious lol. UT will always be known as a women basketball school. Rick is a terrible coach and horrible human. UT football was a shit show for 20 years until NIL, gotta buy a team to be good these days. When everyone catches up with UT, no one will want to go to that terrible city. We shall see
If we use that logic then UNC is really a women’s soccer school before anything else. That’s our most successful sport.

Tarboro vs Corvian for the Ship

How many they bring to y’all’s place?
ER maybe 70ish?
I bet the nchsaa secretly wishes a team like them didn't make it to the championship because of the smaller crowd and gate. The 2 times Mitchell played in a championship I believe something like 6k give or take went especially the first one a Wake Forrest was probably closer to 7k.

Double foul question?

in Grimsley- Rolesville game, on a pass play, Rolesville is flagged for defensive holding. Subsequently, scrambling Grimsley QB is way out of pocket and throws ball while straddling goal line under heavy pressure. He is flagged for intentional grounding.

Ruling: offsetting penalties
Question #1: Doesn’t defensive holding in part cause intentional grounding?
Question #2: is not intentional grounding in end zone an automatic safety?
Question #3 isn’t pass outside of pocket out of bounds, i.e., a throwaway just an incomplete pass?

WC vs 71st 3a Title

May sound like sour grapes but I feel if QB and RB were at full strength WC would have held 71st well below their scoring average but 71st wins a close one like 28-24 or 21-17. The injury to Nance took out the most powerful weapon,Nance being able to pick up 15 to 20 yards on keepers repeatedly really opens up the 71st game. WC defense was stout however, would have still held down a healthy 71st offense down to below their normal output.
We need to acknowledge 71st and their defensive effort. Their defense kept them close and in the game. WC won, but there is no telling what the outcome could have been with a healthy QB and FB/LB for 71st. You can't mark those tangibles in the box score.

First Draft of New Conferences

that .500 rule you talkin’ 'bout is real important. It make sure only the squads that perform good get in the playoffs, but it can hurt teams from them tough leagues. Like, if a team goes 5-6 in a rough conference, they might miss the playoffs, but a team with the same record from a weak conference could slide right in.
Actually the .500 rule is just used if that representative from that conference iwould be seeded as a conference champion. If not then the team would be seeded after champions as a wildcard. But that is under the system we currently use. Who knows about next season 🤷‍♂️

Bill Belichick to UNC

Paying big bucks to all these kids that aren't even good is nuts to me. But we shall see. The QB is one hit away from being done for life. Way to skinny and self interest. He will leave soon and go back to Cali and disappear. Reminds me of Malachi kid from Cali, way to tall and skinny. He's on his third team now and sucks
playin' football be real risky, especially for them quarterbacks, ya feel me? We done seen a bunch of skilled ballers get messed up and end they careers 'cause of their size or how they play.

First Draft of New Conferences

When that happened nearly 20 years ago, did that conference look more like this new proposed conference or the current one? I think Tarboro being in anyone's conference in football should be a concern for their coach.

Just pointing out, there could be other effects by all these split conferences for playoffs. There is also a .500 record rule or something that applies to classification representation from split conferences. Someone here may know it. It has been posted before relating to Polk County a year or two back.
