Been to Portland in January everybody seemed to have sinus infection. Rain for 30 straight days.
You heritage guys are something else. We sit about 7 guys against Elkin and the only athletes you have are 12 and 24. We are twice your size and your kicking game sucks. Keep hanging on that Erwin game and if you luck you will get to bring that Green Machine down the mountain and find out about athletes. You all couldn’t keep draughn from running only problem the draughn QB wanted to think he was a passer. Plus you had four or five unsportsmanlike and late hit penalties. Can only imagine when you have to play somebody that will hit you in the mouth. If number 12 thinks he gonna run up middle and run wild it will be a short game for him. You better wake up Alice this ain’t wonderland. They say if you gonna dream then dream big. You sure prove that right. SMHSaw the Bears vs Elkin I don't think the Bears d match up well with our athletes, Erwin is a much more athletic team than Mt. Airy alot bigger too and we beat them, Starmount is closer to Erwin than Mount Airy.
In a con with Shelby and Burns.I agree.....but East Gaston and Cramer (4a's) would be left out and would need to go somewhere else.
I agree.....but East Gaston and Cramer (4a's) would be left out and would need to go somewhere else.I think KM and Ashbrook will be in a Gaston based split conference. Too many teams and tradition to pass up on.
very good point about the coaches Otis. They are experienced the staff is loaded.I like Coach Mot too! We talk from time to time on the phone. I don’t bother him much during the season. He will have them ready to play and I feel like SWE will give them a good game. It’s just tough to go into the pound and get a win this time of year.
I’m sure Coach Battle will have his team prepared to play their style of ball control. But it’s not just Battle Holley we are talking about but also Brian Aldridge and the rest of that tough staff they have. I think there is like 4 former head coaches on that staff. You got to respect them. It don’t get any better than being able to play a Duplin County team in round 2! I hate this realignment stuff cause it’s going to divide us from some of these great programs that are currently in 2A. I hate to see that coming. 2A as it has been since we got in it has been some great football.
Ok.no one said anything about making bets , this has nothing to do with logic just facts howeverno need to get your bp up , anything can happen during playoffs on a given night any team can win, as far as transitive properties i have no idea what you are talking about your vocabulary is much more expansive than mine not impressed however because i only have a HS education i don't know any better.
THEY BEEN HOLDING ALL NIGHT REF!!!!"SLIDE TACKLE SOMEBODDDDYYYYYYYY!"
WD, and Lexington too. I couldn't make it to the WD but from the game tracker it was tied 0-0 at half. WD only scored a TDs late in the 3rd and forth quarter. Think we lost our QB week before in the Salisbury game, that might have played a part in the offense. We were up 20-10 on Lexington. Players got frustrated after they scored 17 then the kick return that kid should have let go flipped the whole game. Could have had the ball on the 40 yard line and ran the clock out, scored, or pined them on the 20 yard line or better. Keep in mind both Lexington and WD had the best teams they had in a while.Only two teams that you say barley beat us Andrews and north rowan. What coaching experience dose George have and how much since you seem to like the way this guy called plays.
Crest fan pulling for Km?!?!I have seen it all!!!Good luck to KM. Represent.
You do realize that SWE lost to Farmville Central, West Craven beat Farmville Central, and then SWE beat WC? In other words, making bets like that will lose you your house quickly, because WC should have beaten SWE, according to your logic. Results vs common opponents don't matter at all. There are a lot of reasons why WRH can beat SWE, but that's a crazy one to lean on. It's sports, not transitive properties.
One PARKING lot that HOME and VISITORS share. It’s huge THOUGH.Does any one KNOW if ROBINSONS STADIUM have a VISITOR parking lot AREA.
Boone ain't all that bad if you meet the right person. I did. Dreary at times but they kept the dorms warm. The rain and dreary in Pacific Northwest is enough to depress most people.
The stands are always overflowing with students, parents, and alumni all coming together to cheer them on. I still remember the last time Cherokee faced a tough opponent, the atmosphere was insane and it brought out the best in the players.I'm just glad to be playing the Braves in something other than girls basketball. Atmosphere should be electric. Cherokee travels very, very well.
As far as the game, I'm not sure what to expect. I just hope it's a good one.
There's a thread somewhere about it. Let's not turn this into another MA thread 😂How is that allowed? A kid going to MAHS that doesn't even live in Surry Co? That definitely isn't right. Especially if it is all football related and in no way academic related.
This feels like a game where both teams, because of the cold, are really going to try to establish the run. Mooresville has three RBs that can hit a home run on a given play.. and all 3 have very distinctly different running styles which allows them to complement each other extremely well. Then you got the QB that has some serious wheels when needed (4.4 guy).Their defense has been impressive, particularly the secondary, which seems to anticipate plays well and can effectively shut down passing options. The way they handled the run game in their last few matches has shown that if teams can’t establish the run, their entire offensive strategy becomes compromised.
I like the QB's way to buy some time and make big plays.
"SLIDE TACKLE SOMEBODDDDYYYYYYYY!"Just heard MA Soccer going to the State Championship game.

That result would tickle me to death. I'm expecting a way tougher game unfortunately.ER 42-7
No promises on my attire...but I promise my wife won't let me leave the house in jortsDear Maiden fans,
Welcome to Blanton Stadium friday, but we have some rules we need to remind you of...
1. You must wear store bought shoes
2. Grizz aint allowed to be wearing no tank tops and jorts in 32 degree weather...
3. Maiden Creek, I sent a pic to my former co-workers that will be working that gate you enter, and told them to check you for toothpick knives and airplane bottles...
4. No baccer chewing (unless you bring me a can or three of copenhagen then you are good.)
One livemush sammich per patron CREEK!!!!!!
Biggest rule of them all
5. If Lincolnton decides to make the trip, he must have his seat saved at the top of the visitors side (left hand if you are facing pressbox) and the entire top row is his, so he can have room to pace back and forth
All jokes aside, looking forward to what I honestly think will be a good, hard fought ball game.....Should be a barnburner... be safe gents.... You too Creek...
PS the poster above is correct it was 63-28 Rembert still threw for I believe 328 yards that night on us.....
Charter schools often have access to advanced training facilities and coaching staff that give them a major edge in competitions. And let's be real, it's not just about winning titles, but also the level of ease with which they do it.I think all these charter and any non-public schools that can draw 25-plus miles away should eventually be in a playoff of their own in football and basketball. Once schools like Corvian start winning football State championships annually then we all will realize how unfair their advantage is. They need to be placed in a playoff of their own which I hear this said almost every year in football but mainly basketball.
