3A Pisgah Girls basketball

Excellent season for the Pisgah girls. With senior Maddie Webb, (who is Mars Hill University bound) 3 freshman, and one sophomore as the starting lineup, the Bears won the WNCAC conference tournament, and pushed #1 Hickory Ridge to the limit before losing by 3 in overtime in the 3rd round of the state playoffs. Overall record was 21-6. Future looks very bright for a young and talented team that will be moving down to 2A next year.

They got out coaches last night.Few seconds left up by three Hickory with the ball you foul instead of letting them make the three.Just my opinion.Still a good years for the Sugar Bears but it could have been a better year.
