UPDATE: due to weather no junior legion state finals today. Hope to have site in bw the two teams to try again tomm. July 25th
one loss they are out...Windsor vs Mocksvillle ...one game winner take all!
That has to happen occasionally due to weather, but the state tournament for Juniors is the last option for them and not having a rain day built in is tragic.

sense there is not a national tournament for JR legions they should play until every teams but one has 2 losses.
That was last year...doesn't mean a hill of beans to the legion officials this year. You been around long enough to know how they do things????It happens every year!
they also changed the area 3 tiebreaker rule this year. , used the runs aloud rule instead of the record against higher seed. back in 1970's if there was a tie for the last playoff spot they played a one game playoff game. need to determine rules in May before the season starts and shouldnt be changed a 3 out 5 series should be 3 out 5, double elimination tournament should be just that regardless the weather. MLB playoff rules states that all playoff game must be 9 innings regardless of score, not official after 5 innings except during regular season,,. 3 out 5 is better format than double eliminate or pool format, one time the MLB world series was posted a week.. if each team played every teams in their area 1 time the head to head tiebreaker would be the only tiebreaker needed, in 3 out of 5 series less likely to have weather issues , could require a double headed if a game is rained out per North Carolina rule book .
