It’s wild how Borders could ball like it’s a Friday night pizza party, yet Torbush kept him on the bench like he was a leftover slice! One minute he’s making plays that make you shout 'Yeehaw!' and the next, he’s ghosting us like NC State fans after a bad call. This yo-yo routine had everyone feeling more confused than a squirrel in a corn maze, and you know we needed that spark like a farmer needs rain in July!

He is a junior safety. This kid is going to be a really good player. Great athlete and his dad was a really good player in his day. This kid stock is going to rise once his film gets out.
We have won 18 State Championships so I guess we are not to bad in tackle football either. 😂

I saw a post yesterday of the teams ranked on a different site. They are all probably pretty close. Once Shelby hits the playoffs it is a ring season for at least the next 4 years. That is not even me giving them hell. That is the truth without even knowing what talent they will have. Nobody will be able to compete with them with the way the teams were laid out. They are a 3A team with 6A numbers and 5A/6A talent. Before anyone says a word about Burns playing down to 2A, do your research and look at our numbers. We have borderline 4A / 5A enrollment with 3A numbers given the new classes. I think Shelby had more on Varsity last year than we had in our entire program.
They don't go by how many football players you have they go by student ADM's and Shelby had very low 800's last year. Well behind everyone else in this county. We won against two of them. Not to bad for the smallest school in the county.
Why doesn't Crest play up to 8A ball, heck everyone on your team is supposedly signing to play at the next level. You act like we have control over where the state puts us. If you we then you do, go play with the big boys bozo.
Bozo, still haven't answered why Crest didn't play up, come on step up.Actually you do have control. Reidsville was placed in 3A but they have a pecker so they asked to move to 4A to play better competition.

I see that Shelby diploma is made for wiping butts.
Crest is 5A. A smaller 5A school. Shelby is a 3A school who is 3 students away from being a 4 a school. 3 STUDENTS!
Crest plays in 5 A which from top to bottom might be the toughest division in the State.
Plus we added Weddington and Asheville to an already loaded schedule. We also play KM and South Point and Ashbrook.
Shelby plays in the turd division beating up on special needs teams.

No it's constant, and we've been playing AC Reynolds the top team from Asheville area for years. Weddington is a big step up. I certainly wouldn't brag about playing Ashbrook, what have them done in the last 25 years. Our non-conference schedule has always been way tougher than our regular season. The state set our conference just like it does yours. We hate being in this cupcake conference, it has killed our gate unless we play some of the other county schools at home. There were a couple of times last I counted less than 40 people on the visitor side. Hopefully with all these houses being built in the city our numbers will go up in the future then we can join you guys in the big boy league. Bozo

The gap between 5A and 3A schools is like the difference between a Tar Heels and a corndog at the fair! Crest is out here getting wrecked by the toughest rivals in the State of North Carolina! Taking on programs like Weddington and Asheville? That’s like trying to outrun a tractor! Props to Crest for not backing down from a bumpy road!
Toughest division in the state? Hickory lost a lot of players and y’all said you would have had no problem with Monroe. Cake walk for the loaded Chargers. You should have played up to at least 6A with all those 4 star recruits the staff has brought in.
Hickory reloaded that Coach has turned the school into a destination for talented kids in that area
they’re so oblivious to any competition they don’t know they’ve been left behind.
Hickorys jvs haven't lost in 2 years. If there varsity wasn't loaded alot of those kids would have been pulled up.

I know in pool play we lost to nw dekalb out of Ga. They had 2 players that got offers today.
We lost to them and Northern Gillford in pool, then undefeated in tournament play..

Southeast flexing like they’ve got more talent than a county fair! Georgia and NC got folks balling harder than my grandma at bingo night! Facing NW Dekalb and Northern Guilford? That’s like trying to beat my Uncle Joe in cornhole—good luck with that! The fact that you guys faced them really highlights your program level of skills.
