WRH. At Whiteville

U did not win.So quit speculate would could of happen.Only thing different in 4 a is more students So whaz the points.Thaz means ur defense is mediocre at best.
And more students = more size and speed to choose from. The biggest guy on a 2A team might not even make a 4A team because that team might have the option of playing bigger guys due to the larger number of guys trying out. Same with speed.

Someone above got on us for losing to Red Springs a team that is 9-1 something about a different animal that is why the questions about the loss to ED.

Believe it or not wrh has a stacked squad and every team I pray look at the 10 seed and take them lightly u will lose by 40+ there is not a coach that looked at the entire bracket and saw that said them guys r horrible with a10 seed but rather shook their head !! So I hope they get taken lightly by all teams they play cause of their seeding!!

I've seen 6'6 320lb Clemson commit linemen get put on their Aztec by a 6'0 200lb DE in 4A this year. I've also seen RB with 4.5 speed that couldnt follow a block to save his life. I saw all of those things numerous times just this year in 4A. Technique will beat size and speed any day. Most college coaches get caught up in size and speed because their ego tells them they can coach them up to be the player the 6'0 200lb kid is. Their is more to football than size and speed it takes hard work, smarts, and a willingness to be the best you can be. I could pile lineman 6'6 320lbs and RBs that run a 4.4 in scrap heap as high as Mt. Mitchell that couldn't hack it but pass the "eye test".

Jones doesn't qualify for that scrap pile lol. He sent that same 6'0 200lb kid to the sideline with back spasms. Rest assured he is fine now.

Mr Powell is a space eater and demands double teams on every snap. When he is double teamed guess what happens? That leaves a DE or LB unblocked. If you don't double team him guess what happens? You running back has to get around that mass and trust me with that wing span it's like being mauled by a bear! He is the reason SWE was able to keep Tarboro's run game in check. It was only 12-7 Tarboro going into the 4th quarter. SWE had kept one the quickest teams I have witnessed within a score going into the 4th. Tarboro has a QB #12 that runs a Legit laser 4.48.(I know this bc I saw him run 100m at a regional track meet my son was at)He also plays CB. And is one of the best athletes I have seen all season. Well, SWE was well inside the redzone in the 4th looking to take the lead. SWE tried to throw the ball to their 6'6 212lb all-state, star receiver but the ball was underthrown and was caught and ran back for a pick 6 for 95 yards by #12 for Tarboro. No one was going to catch that kid! People dont understand until they see it live the last couple years. Tarboro has fundamental speed freak ATHLETES! They do everything well and you can not afford to make a mistake because they are not going to make mistakes. Did I mention they have about 15 athletes that can flat out fly? You will not beat them to the edge in the run game. That's how I remember it going down. I'm sure another poster from Tarboro or SWE can recollect better than me. You have to play a perfect game against Tarboro, SWE almost did.

That was pretty much it. That pick 6 came in desperation time with like 30 seconds left. It was 18-7 at that point. SWE was at the 5 twice, but was stopped once and fumbled another time. Plus SWE dropped an open TD reception early. Imagine if we had those 21 points! We win by double digits. But I keep telling folks, it's Tarboro's defense, not their offense, that carries that team. They stopped us when it mattered. So don't think that Tarboro had their way with our big boys. Anybody at that game, except Tarboro folks, would tell you that SWE outplayed them. But we kept getting 95 yards when we needed 100.

I watched Tarboro play Riverside last week (even though it wasn’t really a competitive game after the 1st quarter) and I have to agree. Their defense and special teams were top notch. I wasn’t exactly impressed with the offense they ran though...even though they didn’t have to dig too deep into the playbook to blow out Riverside. Between defense and special teams, they racked up 21 points on two pick six’s and a punt return for a TD. Offense even seemed stagnant at times against a subpar Riverside defense.

Thanks, I knew I would struggle with remembering lol

Tarboro pulls the starters against most of the 1A on their schedule after the 1st qtr. Not sure if they did here. Tarboro coaches will be quick to tell you they do not run the wing t, but the Tarboro T with their own style of deciption. #12 is one of best I've seen run it.

U for got 6-5 East Duplin they lost to .I am waiting on the excuses
I'll give u all the excuse u need. Our playmaker on offense and defense did not play against clinton or Eduplin. Call it what u want, but this team is a whole different animal when he's on the field. Without him on the field, we're an above average team with a potent running attack. With him playin, we're front runners to represent the east. You dont have to believe, just watch #13 this Friday nite. If he doesn't play, yal have a decent chance fri. If he does play, we're at least 3tds better. Just my opinion friend. That's why they line up and play.

Sooooo....is Dalrymple questionable? That could make Friday a bit more dramatic. If he has been out awhile depending on the injury it may take awhile for him to put it back together and play they way he use to. Then again, I seen kids step right in and play lights out after being out. I hope the kid is healthy and gets to enjoy the experience.

He good bud

WRH hasnt been healthy for last few weeks by no means. But they are slowly getting back to full stength. Thats why i predicted a 42-21 score. If they can put up 28 and 500 yards of offense with a backup qb on the #1 seed in the 4aa they can surely do it against Whiteville.
And 7 pts verse Clinton on 1 long run that's it.I witnessed that wooping

Do you really expect that. WRH will not be able to play the underdog role by anyone. Folks are smarter than that.
