2004 was the last time they met Lincolnton first game of the season Maiden won 29-6. The Henry guy had a 60-yard scoring run in the 2nd Half

I was at the Game at Lincolnton in 04. My cousin was a cheerleader at Maiden I believe that was her sophomore year.

My memory is a little fuzzy on this particular game but if it's the one I'm thinking about Maiden was a better team than Lincolnton. Again, if this is the right one, the Blue Devils had what seems like a crazy number of penalties.
In the end (of the season), we both lost out to Thomasville who beat Maiden only by a few points, and went on to beat us something like 55-14.
I went to the Thomasville game too, got there at halftime but, it was 23 to 6 I think!! Got there in time and saw that QB run like 77 yards for a TD knew it was over after that!!
Thinking maybe that's the year Thomasville best player got carted off the field in the first half then somehow miraculously came back and played the second half.
That particular year, I'm thinking Thomasville beat Maiden in the first round of the playoffs, at Maiden, but not sure of location... T'ville beat us the next week at their place, but lost out to East Lincoln the week after at East, I saw that one...The Mustangs would go on to win the title over Tarboro at Wake Forest University's BB&T Field (Now it's Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium), saw that one, too...Oh, and might I say, at this 2012 title game, I got to sit in the company of some distinguished visionaries, namely Cheerduck from Hickory, Shelby Lion (Can't remember where he's from), OC Davis from Thomasville, and Footsoldier [sic] from Charlotte Catholic; and by the end of the game, we had a solution for most of the world's problems; you know, like that feller, Pluto (I know that's not his name and it's Mickey Mouse's dog, but it was similar) said, "Alexander Wept because there were no more worlds left to conquer."

Yeah, but we ran them off the field the next year beating them by a resounding score of 14-7. A little payback, you know.
The running back did get carted off the field he had a concussion I believe, but he came back into the game and he was supposed to be out afterwards but was somehow allowed back in the game!! Don't quote me on that!! I remember him taking a nasty hit beforehand and from where I was seated on the visitors side it looked worse when he was taken off the field!!
