Wallace vs Clinton who ya got?

I'll take Clinton but I think it will be very close. I watched Wallace play Starmount online last year and they were very impressive. I also watched Clinton play Shelby in person and if Skinner doesn't get hurt the game would have been closer. I don't think they would have won and Shelby was the better team.
I have nothing but respect for Clinton and would love to meet them in the title game. We have a very tough road to get there though.

You are right, with Skinner we might have scored again, but nothing was stopping Shelby and our D was pretty good last year, but they were a different animal than we had faced all year. A secondary isn't tested in the east, except for run support. Elincoln, I would love to see Surratt in person, so glad he decided to switch from dook to Carolina, maybe if Clinton and E. Lincoln can play well enough we will see each other in Raleigh, Good luck to you guys rest of the way.
First off looking forward to a great game tonight i think Clinton wins 35-24.....secondly I really dislike the majority of western posters I'm sorry we don't have to much say who we are in conference with and u can't expect us to hope on a bus and ride out past Greensboro for non conf games every week...the big boys in Cumberland county don't want to play us so we make due ill take Clinton's history over whoever devil supposts I'll take Clinton over any SD7 school remember that Lincolnton team that was suppose to beat us in 05 well i do got the ring on as I type this now....what a joke stay on those West post
Chopper747, baring anything unusual like a turnover battle , straight up I think you're about right but WRH is very capable of beating us and may very well do so. They're defending 1AA champions and I'd put them up against any 2A teams anywhere and they'd have a ballgame. Key game for both teams for momentum going into the playoffs next week

Never said Clinton wasn't a historically great program. Conference is basically 1A and second rate 2A group. SWO and Clinton is the cream in the east. Come get some west teams for the bracket to make it a little battle. Reidsville, West Stokes, TW Andrews. Who you want? Big deal, you got a ring. There are three on my kids fingers. Nobody even ever wears one.

Defensive stop for Clinton. Wallace misses field goal, Clinton now has the ball with about 1 minute left in the first half.
Shot ourselves in the foot tonight. Two crucial fumbles when driving to score and costly penalties when Wallace had 3rd and longs that kept their drives alive. Clinton moved the ball pretty well when in the spread, but for some reason in the second half went away from it(scratching my head)
Problem was they didn't come out until they were down 14-0 and it got to that score quickly after the game started. After that it was pretty much a even game in fact I was kind of impressed as to how the Horses Horses answered but you cant spot a good team like WRH a 14-0 lead. Both teams should do pretty well in the playoffs. WRH will likely repeat 1AA championship. Only JK may have a say so in that.
FOOTBALLFANTIC. You failed to mention that Clinton recovered those fumbles. Clinton had zero turnovers tonight. Wallace made a few mistakes themselves. Good luck to Clinton the rest of the way. Congrats to Wallace. This team is getting better as the season goes on, expanding the offense little by little and the young defense is fun to watch.
WRH FAN you're right Clinton did recover those fumbles the first 2nd down and goal at the half yard line fumbled and lost a yard, the next play 3rd and goal at the two another fumble with the ball being batted back to the 11 yard line 4th and goal, failed to convert, change of possession same difference. Key sequence in the game. QB is just a sophomore , he's learning. He later threw a perfect deep pass to a wide open receiver who simply dropped the ball. He's a underclass man also. The game was really decided the first 10 min of the game 14-0 start by the Bulldogs. Against good teams it awefully hard to recover from that but it was pretty much even from that point forward. Good luck the the Bulldogs in the 1AAplayoffs. I believe the DarkHorses will do pretty well in the playoffs at least for the first couple rounds. After that we'll see.They're certainly not unbeatable but they will give a good account of themselves. Looking forward to 2016 they will have a very good team as well. This 2015 team is a young team but they're learning
