That is true as well about Dr. Rapp’s efforts being largely unsuccessful. I do believe the time will come when redistricting will be necessary on the south end of the county. Not advocating for it, but think it will eventually happen.
Unless, of course, there is merger with the one or both of the city systems. If they do that, and don’t redistrict, the problem of school overload will be evident to everyone. And the reasons for it.
TVILLEDAWG, Cochran did score the lone TD, but was a bit shorter run, T Ville had fooled us on a play or two earlier completing a long pass from deep in their own territory, I can't remember exactly but would guess the TD run was somewhere in the 25-35 yard range. Was a heart breaker for us Knights, AB and the Tville defense shut our O down all night basically, I don't think we crossed midfield much at all, can remember toward the end of game we had a drive that ended in an interception, pretty much taking all the fight from us!
Great memories,I was also at the game ND won 14-13 cold wet night,ND basically shut down #44 and that was the difference,44 did go on to get his 2,000 yards for the season in the championship game,because I remember him holding up a sign that said 2,000,don't know if AB would agree with that or not but he done it anyway...and back then getting 2,000 yards in a season was really a big deal,nowadays kids get that in the regular season by its self lol
I know ND has got to have a Tuttle playing this year right? Seems like forever they always have a Tuttle and they usually seem like a good contributor to the team
The Tuttles are mostly from Midway, so that is Oak Grove territory. There are at least 2 on the Oak Grove roster this year.
Unfortunately North has lost the Midway area, which is mainly where the Tuttle Family is from, Oak Grove from my understanding took the majority if not all of the Midway Community into their district...someone please correct me if I am wrong....
You are correct. There I should a very tiny sliver of Midway that still goes to North. Enterprise Rd and Zimmerman Rd. Usually less than half a dozen 5th graders per year from Midway who attend North.
TVILLEDAWG2370, I remember some of those Thomasville teams. Those State Championship games between Wallace-Rose Hill and Thomasville were classics. What was the running backs name, Quan Worey I believe. He was a good one. Great ball games. It would be nice to see Thomasville return to form.

Quan Warley was in my grade and made me really wish I transferred my senior year lol. Tville was always the benchmark of Davidson County.

Speaking of things not translating when they moved to High School didn't Steve go undefeated in Middle School like 9 years in a row??
That playing 11 happened in the last portion of his career. I played for Steve in 76. I was 1 of 4 who played both ways and we went unscored on for the whole season!!
That was early in his career. He definitely had a monopoly on middle school ball by the end haha.

Tville defense holds ND to a field goal. Illegal procedure penalty backs up the knights. Not once but twice. Field goal is no good from 50, just a smidge to the right. 0-0 with 7:22 left in 1st qtr.
Bulldog fumble results in ND ball at 2 yard line. TD next play, 7-0 Knights with 4:07 left in 1st.
ND rams it down Tvilles throat. TD from the one on a drive running the ball. 14-0 ND with 9 mins left in the half.
Another Tville player shaken up, ND with the ball at their own 47 with 56 seconds left. 10 was shaken up.
Getting to be a flag fest. Tville block in the back on kickoff followed by ND slam tackle out of bounds.
